The waiters are so nice and the food is delicious! We went here 4 times in two days, and the waiters were very accommodating (even though sometimes we just went in for a coffee) and remembered us from earlier. It’s the perfect place to hang out and have a good meal before seeing a broadway show.
Wonderful intimate restaurant to stay out of the stampede of the Time Square tourists. Great French Onion Soup. Although it may nat appeal to all, they serve the best liver and onions I have ever had… I’m addicted and is my requirement every time I’m in New York. Friends I dine with always find something they like while I enjoy my “usual.” Lovely wine selection and cocktails.
This is a place I’ve been to several times. The food is good. The service is good. But I’d say this: it’s not a great price/value. I mean we had a couple appetizers — and they came like 60 seconds after we ordered them. Then we both had the steak au poivre. Decent. But not a great cut of meat (I had to spit gristle twice). And the price of a glass of wine. Yikes. We ended up spending $253 for two people for a meal that was over in an hour. For that price I wanna say ahh....
