I cannot complain—there was a super amazing atmosphere! Theresa, our waitress, was fantastic, and the velvety-dressed manager (I forgot his name, but I think it was Joey) was incredibly sweet. Also, I can't forget about the host at the entrance; he gave me vibes of Timothée Chalamet!

Fun place with good atmosphere. Came as a walk in on a busy lunch but got a table for 2 in 10 minutes.
The service was a bit slow but it might be because the place was very busy due to the pride parade going on outside.
The food was okay. I added $10 for grilled shrimp which made the salad 50% more expensive and I only got 4 shrimp total… not really worth it. The mac n cheese was basic but good felt a bit industrial. The Caesar salad came without enough dressing so had to ask for more.
Overall this is a good place, a nice option for a casual lunch. A bit overpriced when you get add ons.

I really don’t write reviews but this experience really got me upset cause been going to this place for years ,We had a reservations for 6 and we arrived and they wanted to seat us in the lower level which we had no issues with that only that they seem to have a problem with the bathrooms and the whole downstairs stunk so I went to the tall blond gay manager to let him know about the smell , he looks at me and he says ok and walks away to do something else so I go back to him and try to talk yo him again and he looks at me and in a very rude manner tells me , that’s all I got , no apologies or trying to rectify the situation, I really hope this gets to upper management treating a client who’s been going for a very Long time is not ok .

It was a google search pick to end all google searches… it was a short walk from the Anne Frank exhibit, it was an easy menu of choices for different tastes and ages and it was all fabulous: service, wait staff, menu, voices and atmosphere!!! We may have to find another excuse for a day trip to Downtown just to have lunch ere again!!
(Go for the BLT or prime rib dip without hesitation)

This restaurant is a combination of wonderful service, delicious cuisine, and a great vibe! Our server Tereza was absolutely extraordinary. She was very kind and attentive and made my friend and I feel very welcomed. Also, for NYC, the prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous.

Nice looking place. Fried chicken waffles, huge portion, but meat as a little dry. Note, sparkling water is $10 a bottle and they don’t come and pour the refills for you. 20% suggested tip is the lowest they start with.

I’ve never walked into Cafeteria, but I’ve ordered via DoorDash over a dozen times. For the most part, I’ve really enjoyed the food, but the times there have been issues, they’ve been big ones. Case in point, I ordered the baby gem salad today. There was not a single leaf of baby gem lettuce in the salad. Not one. It didn’t resemble the picture which features full leaves of baby gem lettuce. Frankly, it looked like salad mix. It would have been annoying had the lettuce at least been nice romaine, but less than half was romaine. Most of it was an assortment of bitter lettuces like kale. If I’m ordered a sweet, subtle lettuce like baby gem, do not send me a salad mix consisting of bitter, unappetizing lettuces.
We had an amazing experience here! The atmosphere had such good vibes, Nicholas was absolutely amazing, we had to have the waiter come back multiple times because there were so many good options on the menu that we couldn’t make up our minds! He was so patient and kind, and the food was AMAZING. This place is so beautiful and even though we sat outside on one of the coldest days in NY, it was still warm and cozy, bonus points for the cute blankets they left for us!
