Awful, just awful! So unfortunate bc we were hoping for a nice coffee & snack. Careless RUDE staff, more interested in speaking to each other than making eye contact with customers. Wildly overpriced drinks, the guy charged us $8 for a bottle of water. Acidic lukewarm “coffee” & low quality pastry items. This place is an embarrassment to all real coffee shops in Manhattan. I hope the owner sees this. If staff is too obnoxious & busy chatting, fire them! hire good, hardworking people, bc they’re out there. Bad staff + poor quality food = awful experiences.

This review is about 15 years late. Used to deliver the best smoked salmon to these cafes. Used to be 3 of them. 1st ave this 3rd ave and another on 7th. Always cheerful staff and happy to help and service. Coffee was great and the parfait amazing. Good times.

If you absolutely love small and intimate atmospheric cafe's with excellent snacks and pastries, then this is the café to go to. The food is nice, within budget, therefore nothing too expensive.

The place seems clean, but what coffee shop does not have a WiFi ?
Amazing little chic cafe that feels like you are in a city in Europe. Delicious coffee with an option of almond milk or oat to add to any specialty coffee. Mini sandwiches and desserts are delish! Worth a stop!

The medium latte ended up costing close to $7 and didn’t taste that good! It was almost burnt or too bitter, not sure. The service was alright, not overly friendly. The café is small with some tables inside and some outside.

Honestly this place is the best coffee shop in NYC. There something about Caffe Bacio that is so special. The location is great too, I love this area in the upper east side. Very classy. Plus I love the staff, say hello to the Bacio Bros. There good people…

Two working behind the bar were pretty rude. At their prices for a cup of coffee, I'd much rather go elsewhere.
Literally the best lattes and coffee I’ve found in NYC. Their matcha iced latte is my go-to and it’s absolutely delicious; seriously the best I’ve found in the city. The pastries are always fresh and go great w their coffee. I am in awe of this little cafe and its great taste. The staff are super sweet and always know my order too! Love Caffe Bacio!!
