The ice cream is good, but not amazing. This place is definitely hyped.
The big burly bearded guy operating the cash register didn’t tell us the whipped cream, drizzle, and crunch was included. (It’s my fault for not noticing, but the cashier should have offered) Cashier looked miserable. The look on his face radiated, “Next!” Poor customer service. Do better.
Most employees were just standing around doing nothing. Our order was also skipped by 2 separate guest behind us. Most staff members looked confused and idling around.
No seating available, but that’s not an issue.
However, customer service needs to be improved.

I came to try the Caffe Bianco Stracciatella Affogato is Recommended and it was great! I also tried their Hot Chocolate and that was too sweet! Would not recommend unless that is what you prefer. Cookies 'N Panna was okay. It was an overall okay experience during Winter.

I’ve been wanting to try Caffe Panna foreverrrr. And I finally was in the neighborhood and had to make it there. Usually a long line but SO worth the wait, took us maybe 15 minutes to make it in. I got their Japanese cheesecake sundae and it was everything I dreamed of. Will become a go to

I’m writing this because I’ve genuinely been a long-time customer of Caffè Panna and have always loved your flavors, which is why this experience was honestly shocking.
This happened yesterday, February 21, around 9:15–9:20 PM. I had just finished a long day of work and rushed over because I knew closing time was 9:30 PM. I arrived at the window smiling, excited to grab something before heading home. Instead, I was met with one of the most disrespectful customer service interactions I’ve ever experienced.
I was greeted by a young Asian male employee. From the very beginning, his tone was rude and unwelcoming. I politely asked if soft serve was still available, and he didn’t respond verbally at all. Instead, he just tapped on the window and pointed at the store hours, which honestly left me confused because that didn’t answer my question. He then said, “We’re not gonna have that right now, we’re about to close,” even though it was still before closing time.
I then asked if cookies and panna were available, and his response was, “No, that’s the first thing that sells out. Just buy a pint, go home, and play your games.”
I am a 30-year-old adult, and being spoken to like that was completely inappropriate and honestly humiliating. His tone throughout the entire interaction was rude, dismissive, and not welcoming at all. I understand people can have bad days, but this interaction genuinely ruined mine. If someone doesn’t like dealing with people, they probably shouldn’t be working in a customer-facing role.
I was honestly at a loss for words. I didn’t argue. I just left and went home in a terrible mood.
Is this really the level of service Caffè Panna stands behind? Closing soon is understandable. Selling out is understandable. Speaking to customers with sarcasm and disrespect is not.
I hope management takes this seriously, because experiences like this completely change how loyal customers feel about coming back.

Delicious. Worth the wait (the line moves quickly). So very good! If you are there when they serve hot chocolate, I highly recommend adding it to your order.

Caffè Panna in New York lands at about a 3.5 out of 5 for me. The ice cream was average quality overall and leaned a bit too sweet. The Caffè Bianca flavor was especially lacking and did not have much depth. The Red Flag flavor was okay but not really worth the hype. On the positive side, the line moved quickly and the process was efficient. That said, I would not go out of my way to stop here again. It is fine if you are nearby, but it would not be a destination for me.

I got the chocolate and cookie and cream. Both were good. You can get toppings without a charge here. I wish there was a little place to sit inside and eat.
There’s always a queue at peak hours, especially when they do limited flavours. But if you go during the right time, you’ll get your stuff in under 5 minutes

The ice cream was honestly really good and worth the price. The whipped cream, syrup, and other topping being complimentary is a plus bc the whipped cream elevated the ice cream. Idk if it was only for that day that I went but they didn’t accept cash and only card so be aware of that if you do end up going. The only downside of Caffe Panna is the lack of seating which is why they don’t get the full 5 but besides that it’s honestly super good and if I’m around the area when it’s open I’ll def go again.
