We got the affogato and the caffe bianco stracciatella (with panna and sea salt). Both were delicious - would highly recommend. There seems to always be a line, but it moves very quickly.
This Gramercy ice cream spot completely lives up to the hype — honestly, best ice cream I’ve ever had. I got a soft, buttery raspberry scoop topped with whipped cream and olive oil (yes, olive oil), and I’m still thinking about it. It’s one of those combos that sounds odd until you try it, then suddenly nothing else compares.
Even coming from the UWS, I’d make the trip again in a heartbeat — and I’d do it fully expecting to stand while eating it on the sidewalk. Seating is basically nonexistent, but worth the trade-off. Service was incredible: super friendly, patient, and fast. People around us were buying whole pints, and now I get it.
Everyone warns about the infamous wait, but we somehow got lucky — in and out in 5 minutes. If the line’s short, they move quick. Definitely one of those places where if you see a short line, drop what you’re doing and go.
It’s as good as it looks! As an Italian, I approve 👌🏼
Some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had!
Don’t be scared by the line. They had 3 people taking orders when we went, so it moved very quickly.
Each scoop is served with whipped cream, a drizzle, and a crunch.
Also for any fellow Phil Rosenthal fans, they have a soft-serve Sunday created by Phil.
Caffe Panna is one of my favorite ice cream spots in the city. I take anyone who visits me and they enjoy it too. The Oreo ice cream is my go to.
The line moves surprisingly quickly despite how long it looks. Aud's dream is delicious for the peanut lovers. Get the panna! Lovely whipped cream!
The Oreo & Panna is INCREDIBLE!
don’t forget the toppings Oreo brittle & gram cracker crunch. Definitely going coming back the with entire family.

Don’t be a victim. Ice cream is mid, not worth waiting in a long line. Skip.

Caffè Panna is truly a hidden gem! I've tried them all in the city, and this place has come out on top as my number one. It's hands down the best gelato in town—creamy, flavorful, and made with the finest ingredients. What really sets it apart, though, is the incredibly friendly staff. They make you feel like you're part of the family, offering personalized recommendations and always serving with a smile. I would eat here every day if I could! Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, Caffè Panna offers a warm, welcoming vibe that perfectly complements its top-tier gelato. Definitely a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth!

Decent gelato and the spot is always busy.
The olive oil and fresh whipped cream is a nice touch.
Gelato itself is decent but definitely not worth lining up for 30 minutes...if the line is short, definitely worth trying if you're in the neighborhood.

stracciatella is not my personal favorite but this is so worth a $6 treat.
Great ice cream!!! Please serve water if you’re going to have such a sugary treat!! Feels sad to charge for that kind of thing.

Their ice cream is always good. I always go when there’s a flavor I wanna try that day as their menu changes daily, but the flavors are available on their IG page. I have tried their soft serve a couple of times but didn’t really enjoy it as much, but this pistachio one was by far the best I’ve had. The ice cream itself with the panna on top was a great combo.
