Surprisingly slow on a Sunday morning. Fifteen minutes for a bagel. Better for tourists looking for waffles than New Yorkers picking up a coffee.

I have passed by this place for years. Never went inside. The only reason I stopped is because I had to use the bathroom. I also missed breakfast and it was late afternoon. I ordered a turkey bacon, egg & cheese on a croissant. By the time I washed my hands and came out of the bathroom it was cooked, bagged and ready to go. It was delicious. I have no complaints, except one, and that was through my own fault. I should have specified what cheese I wanted.

The man at the counter was so nice and friendly. It definitely plays a big role in my returning here to eat again. The place is clean, cozy and has plenty of seating for one or several groups of friends. Breakfast is served all day and they have a wide variety of food. You can get waffles, pancakes, honey bread, sandwiches, wings, salads, pasta, soup, bubble tea, coffee, smoothies, milkshakes, slushes and even slices of cakes and cookies! This place is small but it has a big menu! Most of the selections are in the $5 - $11 price range. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying one of their many latte's. Still deciding between the S'more Hot Chocolate and the Red Velvet Latte.

The asian barista guy is the most helpful and kind barista in all NYC. Always available, hospitable and professional!
This is the kind of place you feel like home!

My husband and I both ordered breakfast sandwiches. He got a croissant for the bread, and I got a roll. They both were sweet, which is, my opinion, off-putting in a breakfast sandwich.

Also, the sausage in the sandwich was more like bratwurst than breakfast sandwich. It's almost like AI was asked to put together a breakfast sandwich.

Very sweet staff and the food/drinks are all very well made.
I spilled some of my coffee and the barista (without asking) made me a whole new one fully for free even though I was practically done with it and only spilled 2/3 sips at most.
The bagels were amazing and the sweet drinks were devine. We made sure to order something to go and live the kind barista a generous tip :))
Thank you for being kind

I had a very good experience at this coffee shop. The decoration is nice, the staff are so kind and friendly. I ordered breakfast plate2 with passionfruit lime green tea. The garlic toasts are so delicious as well. My friends also ordered the strawberry banana waffle and they really enjoyed the food there.

I ordered a croissant today and it tasted really strange. After just two bites, it had this medicine-like flavor and felt soggy, almost like it had been made a long time ago. I couldn’t finish it. When I got home, my stomach started hurting badly—it feels like the kind of pain you get after eating something spoiled. That was the only meal I had today.

Before leaving New York, my friend and I stopped by Caffè Bene to pass some time and grab a bite. Honestly, I kind of regret not trying more from their menu! They offer a wide variety of coffee, desserts, breakfast items, bubble tea, and more. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese croissant , it was absolutely delicious. The Nutella Hazelnut Mocha Latte was amazing too. I also grabbed a non alcoholic c mojito to go, which was super refreshing! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the café was spotless, and there were plenty of seats a perfect place to relax. The prices were very reasonable, especially for New York. I highly recommend checking this place out

Caffebene Coffee & Waffle is such a hidden gem! The space is spotless with a calm, welcoming vibe, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for how nice everything is. I ordered the Smoked Salmon & Avocado Toast and a fresh Blueberry Smoothie Tea, both were delicious and beautifully presented. I couldn’t resist a birthday-cake macaron, and it was the perfect sweet finish. Everything from the food to the atmosphere was excellent. I’ll definitely be back!

The Matcha, Carrot Cake and Bacon, Eggs & Cheese on a Croissant was the best thing ever. The food at this café is simply outstanding, making every visit a memorable experience. From the moment your plate arrives, you can see the attention to detail and freshness in each dish. The flavors are balanced, vibrant, and prepared with care, turning even the simplest meal into something special. Their breakfast options are hearty yet light, perfect for starting the day, while the lunch and dinner selections offer comfort and creativity in every bite. Fresh ingredients, thoughtful pairings, and consistent quality set this café apart. Even the desserts and pastries are crafted with love, adding a sweet finish to the meal. It’s the kind of place where every dish feels homemade yet elevated, leaving you excited to return again.
