A neighborhood gem! We enjoyed another delightful and delicious Friday night dinner with superb service from all! Thx so much! Looking forward to dining again with you soon!
Beware: $40 for penne vodka if you ask to add cheese and peas aka an extra $12 for the 2 toppings. Our pasta was so overcooked that the penne broke apart when you tried to pick it up and that's after asking for it al dente. There's no manager or owner to speak to. Just a guy who looks like he's the manager but does the job with no title or authority. “Most people who come here are regulars and already know the prices” I was told when I asked how my pasta was $40 when they had sauces with mushroom or other vegetables in them at no extra charge. This place has gone way downhill from when I use to order from here many years ago.
Always delicious and fresh food. Love it.
After busy visit to The Met-a lovely respite with congenial service and delicious home made pasta. Hope to visit sometime soon again.

The best neighborhood Italian restaurant on the upper east side. Great pastas and the friendliest service. Been around for almost 40 years.

Thoughtful and attentive wait staff, delicious homemade pasta and sauces, fresh and tasty salads all at a reasonable price.
I’ve worked in restaurants all over the city anywhere from diner to Michelin star. I’ve hardly had a better dining experience than at Caffe Buon gusto. Your first time here will feel like you’ve already been here 10 times the way they treat u like family. Nando and the staff are exceptionally charming and welcoming. The food is unbelievable. 6 Stars.

Amazing experience once again. This is a local neighborhood hotspot that was jam-packed at 8 PM on a Monday night. The food is super authentic and high-quality... homemade pastas and incredible deserts. The service was great ...the owner... I think it's the owner... He walks around the place, takes your order, brings your food, busses your table....he's grouchy yet funny and friendly.... super Italian. This is where the upper east side locals eat. not much around it but worth the trip. Casual setting- loud, cramped and nothing fancy - feels like Italy- - just perfection.
food & service were excellent, the vodka sauce was 10/10

It was the best I’ve ever had. Lobster ravioli and Chicken Alfredo were great options

This place has the best gnocchi. I get it with Pesto, and Im addicted. I have to get it whenever I am in NY

Delicious food, great service. UES prices- relative to other restaurants in the area, a good value.
Food was DELICIOUS and the staff was super friendly and attentive! We will definitely be back!!
This was one of my favorite little Italian spots when I lived in the city 20 years ago. We brought the kids back last night and it did not disappoint!
