The food was overall good, not amazing, my daughter's pasta excellent, mine, a special pasta for $39 on the menu – an exorbitant price for pasta by any measure – was teeny tiny. I was shocked that the portion size was about 25% of my daughter's. And the other thing, it is a service pet peeve of mine when they start clearing the table when when one party is still eating. This is a very small crowded restaurant. Tables are one on top of the other but not noisy. The food was excellent as was the service. However a real drawback is that the staff is on top of you. You feel rushed throughout the meal. They watch you and take your plate almost before you're finished. It makes you feel uncomfortable. If that were not the case this would be a wonderful neighborhood restaurant.
