It's rare to find a spot that gets an easy 5 stars without even thinking twice about it.. First of all the server may have been the best server I've ever had. Jeremiah was very cool , quick and attentive. I ask a million questions and he had all the patience in the world. I only remember his name because I took a pic of the receipt because I knew I had to review this place. The appetizer came out quick and it seemed like as we were ready for our food it was there. Perfect timing! And the salad was amazing! And to think I went in there for a slice of pizza.. now it's somewhere I'd suggest to ppl and definitely somewhere I'd return to

Great place with lots of variety and good prices. Everything is fresh and of good quality. They are very patient, especially with children.

Every time I go here the workers are always nice. And the food is always great.

Dined here more than a handful of times. Service is good but at times slow. I liked everything I've tried on the menu so far esp their lunch specials. Spaceous interior and keeps temperature warm, which I appreciate esp during cold winter days. Tip: They have late happy hours.

Waldorf Salad was delicious and huge. Got my complementary Birthday dessert as well.

I've been going to CPK since I was a kid, and while the pizzas are only okay compared to all the great pizza places in the city, it's still a reliable choice when you're going for that dependable, no-surprise suburban restaurant chain nostalgia. Some tips: avoid the cauliflower pizza crust, the spinach artichoke dip is good, the pizzas are all pretty decent though the Thai and BBQ ones are on the sweeter side.

Unbelievable. We've ordered take out from here a couple times and the amount of food they try to pass off as "dinner portions" is laughable. Tonight we ordered two salads, one for myself and one for my wife. We added avocado to both, which is a $3 up charge. When our order was delivered (by door dash) we opened the salads. They appear to have been made this morning with slivers of BBQ chicken on them and L I T E R A L L Y two slices of avocado in each salad. Neither of us get mad about much (unless it's at each other) but this was absurd. These are $11 salads without avocado, add the avocado and you're up to $14 per. I was starving so I ate it and now I've got to make myself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich too... (see picture for actual avocado serving size)

This was my first and last visit to this place. Came as a group of 9 for lunch, please remember that we had a reservation. From the beginning it was clear that service would be sub-par: table given was just big enough for 8 people; and when pointed out server basically drugged half of the smaller neighboring table to join ours, meaning that 2 people would be sitting unaligned with the rest of the group in somewhat uncomfortable fashion. Next, server collected drinks order and came out with all of them at the same time, but clearly was not tracking who wanted what, which resulted in unnecessary moves of filled glasses, which in turn resulted in a small spill right next to my sleeve (and no, I was not holding this glass) which was not taken care of. We ordered, and all plates came out simultaneously. Probably the biggest plus this place gets. As I was eating my pasta (which was a solid 4 start dish) my friends decided to order few more pizzas to share but our server disappeared and 2 others were making "I-am-super-busy" looks and never came by. When it was time to leave, it also took more than 10 minutes to get the check, and I think those other "super-busy" guys called manager. For the plus side. As I mentioned my pasta was well prepared, with real pieces of craw fish in it. I did asked for extra spicy, but what came out would barely pass as a creole dish; full star removed for this. Interior looks never with plenty to look at; except that it is obvious that funding stopped after 8-9 foot height was reached: anything located higher than this mark does not deserves to be in Manhattan. Conclusion is simple: this is a pretty nice grab-a-slice place; but do not expect anything fancy; there are plenty of better tasting pizzas in the area as well.

I ordered the marguerite pizza the first time then I ordered the fettuccine pasta and the Asain dumplings are to die for the service seems to be getting better

The food is good, but the service could be much better. Our waitress was very hard to call and run away before we even finish ordering.

They have the most delicious mushroom pizza. I normally don't eat lunch, California Pizza Kitchen is irresistible.

Been to this CPK a number of times and it's always been a great experience. I always like trying their new pizzas and I enjoy their appetizers and drinks. Came with two other friends who had never been and we got a pepperoni pizza and a margarita pizza. We also shared the sangria flight which was very good. All in all it was a nice time.

Came here for a group lunch and it was great. Service was good and food was great. A bit on the expensive side for the type of food but lots of food and price options. My favorite was the egg rolls. My fish tacos were not my favorite, it was okay too much slaw. Oh btw no French Fries, my favorite food and yet they don't have it. Oh well. Will still come back.

I'm a regular at this restaurant and the food is usually very good but the service on the other hand. Ugh. They almost never know how to make a decent margarita. On our last visit the waiter took our drink order and then proceeded behind the bar to read about how to make the drink I just ordered. It was a margarita. I knew I was in trouble when he said "so you want it straight up, that means without ice"? This place screams mismanagement. From being seated without silverware to not having a real bartender on duty. When the service is good and the bartender knows how to make a margarita this is a really good family place with a really great menu. Some decent manager needs to get the place and the staff in shape.
