You will not be disappointed. Every dish was memorably delicious. Cocktails are on the expensive side, but I'd highly recommend and will come back.
Waiter justin was great, very attentive. The food was 10/10. I had the Cuban fried rice and my wife had the flank steak both super delicious. Will definitely be back.
Oh my goodness, stumbled across this restaurant via and web and so glad I did. The food was delish. The best Papa Rellenas I have ever had. Can't wait to go back.
The food and service are consistently wonderful. A fantastic spot for both intimate dinners and group gatherings—always a great experience! Highly recommend it.
Yesterday, I took my sister here for her birthday! We arrived around 5:30 pm and was immediately seated in a cozy little section in the back! Our server, Justin, was phenomenal and kept us laughing the entire time. We started off with the hot appetizers (chicken empanadas, crispy, shiitake wontons, and grilled shrimp with garlic mojo) -everything was delicious. Afterwards, we ordered the steamed shrimp wontons and our main course Bian Pao Salmon along with the ma-po maduros. Great food, great service. The overall experience was definitely a vibe. We will be back. Thanks again Justin for making our first visit to Calle Dao memorable.
The food was absolutely amazing but we sat down 45 minutes after our reservation time which delayed our night. We sat down. We had great service and attention from waiters.
We got there during happy hour and ordered from both menus. Food was very good, bowever waitress forgot to put in my order, so my food didn't arrive until my guests finished their meal. They need more wait staff so the waitress isn't also making drinks,
We inadvertantly utilized the Restaurant Week Fix Prix menu and Happy Hour discounts. The venue is a small-ish, rustic place with charming relics of 50's Cuba, cozy and warm vibe. The staff are welcoming, humorous while professional and efficient. We had the honour of Justin attending to us. He didn't show a sign of being tired of my bad attenpts of joking, instead he was charming and informative. The food was amazing. Not too much spices of either Cuban or Chinese origin: just the right amount. The flavours were cozy yet vibrant, textures well balanced. All the ingredients were flavourful and fresh. The dishes came within minutes, fresh and hot. We will definitely come back
Food was delicious, although the portions were a bit small for the price. Five wings for $14, four small dumplings for $15, and the stir fry pork belly was great, but again not the largest portion. Overall a good meal and good experience. I would recommend for a casual-ish sit-down dinner.
The service was memorable and food was most exquisite!! I highly recommend for anyone in the area looking for fusion food!!

The food was very good. We had the cuban fried rice and ropa vieja noodles and both came out nice and hot and savory, we enjoyed them very much. The appetizers we tried the chicken empanadas and the shitake wontons, which I loved. Everything was rich with flavor, no blandness to be found. We tried this place with the restaurant week menu and totally worth it. However, I would not pay regular price for the items we ate. It's also a small place that hosts large groups, so between the music and conversations across large tables it gets pretty loud. PS the mojito's were good too :) Overall a nice place and definitely glad we tried them during restaurant week.
I came here after watching the Cuban-inspired musical "Buena Vista Social Club" so I figured coming to a Cuban-Asian place would be fitting. Calle Dao did not disappoint. I loved the vibe there- had great salsa playing and even English songs on top of salsa beats. Loved the vibrant colors of the place. The food here was outstanding!!! Definitely would recommend the papa rellenas, the ropa vieja noodles & the drinks!!! Omgosh!!! I'm still dreaming of the Malecón, which is a frozen drink.
Great food, worth trying, nice service. But the time I went there was very busy and noisy. It’s not for you if you’re looking for a good atmosphere of chatting with your friends it’s probably not for you.

Lovely atmosphere, kind service, the food was so tender and flavorful. An overall very charming little spot. The prices are worth the quality of the dishes.
