As a vegan visiting NYC from the Midwest, I was eager to find a fine dining experience that would give me the ambience I enjoy for dressing up nice and enjoying a date, and the caliber of elegant and creative vegan food I crave. Impressive space, felt like an upscale restaurant as oppose to just a cafe. We are new to vegetarian/vegan life & everything we ordered was very tasty. The dishes were inventive & we didn't miss the meat at all. We can't wait to return to try something else.

I hurried to test this restaurant before it closes on Dec 31 (building will be demolished). The other location on 75th St and 3rd ave will remain open and do catering. The food was great: latke, mushroom flatbread etc. Everything is vegan on the menu. Can't wait to hear when a new location opens in the Upper East Side.
