So it was karaoke night and the sound was far too loud for the location. The food was okay at best and they appear to be running a tip scam disguised as a service charge which equals exactly 20% of the meal. Then the waiter comes tto the table to take your payment with a tip option displayed asking for more. No slight to the waiter so another 20% was added. But the restaurant's business practices are most definitely shady.

Good luck to them because they're fighting for their lives but the place will definitely fail if they continue with the shenanigans.

I’m a harlem native so i stand on business when it comes to good local spots. Cantina is one of them, strong drinks, grey good, good prices, good music and energy. The only downside to my experience recently was the AC being down and it being 80+ outside. Sweating and drinking is a bad combo if you’re trying to be out all night.

Food wise i recommend the tacos, andy one of them honestly. I have the fish taco, chili lime and the mango chicken tacos, with a strawberry and goat cheese salad. ( That salad is special)
And acourse you get a margarita at a mexican place.

Came here with my nephew from Maryland. There was a dead fly in the margarita mix. Just sippin around and around. Was not impressed by the food at all. Only good thing are the drinks.

Only good thing in here is the bartender. That’s it. Dead fly in the margarita mix just spinning around. I ordered steak nachos and there were 2 pieces of steak . They were holding wake for the fly in the margarita mix. I would not spend another $1 in that place. Go next door for a better everything .

We were a group of 5 girls and had an awful experience at this bar. We waited over 3 hours for a table while being treated in a rude and disrespectful way by the staff. What made it even worse was that after the extremely long wait, they finally let us in - only to tell us there was actually no space and send us back outside.

The whole experience was disorganized, frustrating, and honestly humiliating. The atmosphere was bad anyway, but the terrible service and endless waiting made it much worse. We also saw multiple people being let in before us even though they arrived much later.

We ended up leaving and definitely will not be coming back. Would not recommend this place to anyone looking for decent service or basic respect.

Horrible service as my friends and I waited 2hrs for cinco de mayo and being in the entry list they were picking and chosen people they knew and pushing us back on the list coordination is by far the most ghetto thing I’ve ever experienced in my life we were waiting for a table for 5 people they stated we had a table after waiting to then find out it was for the bar we left with such treatment we were not going to spend a dime in that place it was a waste of time we hit corner social better establishment with great service that this chain restaurant couldn’t give us don’t waste your money there’s a lot of nice restaurants nearby with food drinks music etc

One of the best happy hours in Harlem, highly recommend the mango jerk and chicken lime tacos. Nachos and plates are great and customizable. HH drink menu has plenty to choose from. Bartenders, hostesses and Fransisco the owner are extremely friendly.
