Don't let the exterior fool you. Very clean and inviting in this cozy diner. Food was good, pancakes were delicious! Liked the home fries and beef sausage as well. Great coffee! Nice little spot to drop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Staff is friendly and attentive. Overall, I really liked this diner and will visit again when in the area.

It was amazing it was my first time I ordered a regular bacon and egg sandwich with a Pina colada smoothie it was amazing the waitress was so sweet and attended to me immediately❤️

Hidden in Inwood, Capitol Diner is an American Diner with amazing selections in Paninis, Burgers, Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner entrees. Sitting inside feels like you’re in an old fashioned NY themed joint, but man it doesn’t get better than that. This place deserves its credit. I usually order my food and pick it up. But yea, definitely one of my favorite spots in Manhattan.
