Don't let the exterior fool you. Very clean and inviting in this cozy diner. Food was good, pancakes were delicious! Liked the home fries and beef sausage as well. Great coffee! Nice little spot to drop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Staff is friendly and attentive. Overall, I really liked this diner and will visit again when in the area.

Hidden in Inwood, Capitol Diner is an American Diner with amazing selections in Paninis, Burgers, Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner entrees. Sitting inside feels like youâre in an old fashioned NY themed joint, but man it doesnât get better than that. This place deserves its credit. I usually order my food and pick it up. But yea, definitely one of my favorite spots in Manhattan.

We have been coming here for dinner and breakfast recently, and it is consistently delicious. The omelet and eggs are usually good, except for the occasional time when they are overcooked. The omelet has a great cheese pull. Service is always good. Would recommend.
