Hidden gem in Hell’s Kitchen! Such a quaint restaurant tucked away. Small tables, amazing food made with care. Pizza was to die for - crust was crisp and flavorful, toppings were fresh. We had the chicken hot honey special. The “bread” with olive oil
Is not to be missed. The Caesar salad was enough for two with tons of cheese and a great dressing. We finished up with a cannoli made of half chocolate and half Oreo filling. Such a good meal. We will be back! Service was attentive and friendly. Thank you!

This is the perfect place to go in New York City if you’re looking for a quaint, charming family owned pizza place. Best pizza we have had in NYC! Wonderful wine & beer selection as well! The atmosphere is inviting and cozy and the service is excellent. We had the pleasure to meet Will who took great care of us! Everything about this place is 5+ stars you would be remiss if you didn’t stop here! Thank you!

The best pizza outside of Italy!

If you're looking for truly exceptional pizza in NYC, look no further than Capizzi! Here's why I keep coming back:

The pizza is simply divine. Seriously, it's some of the best I've ever had, and even surpasses many places in Italy. The crust is absolutely amazing. It's not too thin, wonderfully crispy and perfectly chewy. All the ingredients are super fresh and have that unmistakable, authentic Italian flavor.

My usual order includes the Arugula or Artichoke salad, or the Arancini as an appetizer. For pizza, I typically go for the Bufalina pizza or the Sicilian Eggplant when I want something lighter. When I'm hungrier, I opt for the Prosciutto Funghi or Pepperoni/Hot Honey pizza.

Homemade tiramisu is very good, compared to other restaurants serving this dessert store bought.

The service is always outstanding. The waiters/manager are incredibly polite, friendly, not at all pushy, and just genuinely kind. They truly make you feel like you’re visiting your family in Italy.

Because it's so popular, there can be a long line in the evenings. I usually try to arrive earlier, around 5-6 pm, when they just open.

Highly recommended🍕

Will and Alison were the best servers, they took care of our table and were extremely helpful, efficient and friendly.
The food was AMAZING. I must say that I’m pretty hard to impress when it comes to pizza but this place was not only amazing with their savory pizza but also with their Nutella pizza (a must try).
Ambience was great and my family and I had the best time.

We liked the food a lot. The only thing we did not like were the aluminium plates for the pizza. We have never seen this anywhere before. The problem was they were not even and moved when slicing the pizza.

Had one of my first ever meals in New York City at Capizzi back in May 2022. The staff were incredibly kind, the pizza and caprese salad were good. The interior were both warm and cosy.

Amazing service and atmosphere with kind and attentive staff. We tried two different pizzas and flatbread with olive oil. The flatbread was not a perfect pairing but I liked it. The pizza lacks a bit of char in my opinion to make it a perfect pizza, the toppings are high quality though. Totally recommended.
