My wife and I went after a Saturday matinee. It was a short walk from the theatre and was not crowded based on the time of day. I couldn't decide between the burrito or enchilada, so the waiter, who recommended both highly, encouraged me to try the burrito. It was outstanding! The next day, I actually told my wife that I couldn't stop thinking about it. My wife had the pulled pork, and loved it. Luckily for me, she wasn't able to finish it, so I got to enjoy both the burrito and pulled pork :). Will definitely be coming back, but will try the enchiladas next time. Waiter/service was terrific as well.

We made reservations here based on its location near our theater and the reviews. Wow what a find! We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was, how friendly and quick the service was. I will definitely go back. This one is a keeper.

Great dining experience. We arrived early to eat before a nearby show. The staff were all attentive and efficient and the best part, very friendly. We were celebrating our granddaughter's 13th birthday. When a robot delivered churros we were surprised! It was fun. The food was delicious. This is a great little place that has a really fun vibe. The restaurant is not pretentious. They are just wanting everyone to have a good dining experience and we did!

Found this place on a whim while visiting Manhattan for a Broadway show. Was easily able to get a reservation. It has a delightful ambience and the food tasted fresh and delicious. We had the guacamole, tacos, and mushroom and kale quesadilla. The margaritas were great, as well. Loved all the vegetarian options. Definitely something for everyone on the menu.

Waited for 1:45 hours and still didn't get the food that was ordered. Would give 0 stars if I could

I love Carla's. My daughter and I had a great experience. FYI, you should sell Merchandise. Thank you

This restaurant is casual. They keep the Covid tradition of no paper menus. They should move on and print menus. QR codes have gone out of fashion. The service was excellent. We were there for lunch. The salad was fresh and delicious. The avocado toastee is a sandwich and very good. There was one dessert; churros with vanilla and chocolate ice cream; tasty.

Great restaurant in a convenient location. Wonderful food and atmosphere. I has the pasta with chicken in a tomato cream sauce and it was excellent. I look forward to returning.

We were looking for a quick bite before a show and Carla delivered. Great food and ambiance and for the area, amazing prices.

Had great service and enjoyed this quiet place close to the theatres. The food was a bit disappointing. We ordered the chicken wings; flavor was good but they were very dried and seemed to be reheated since they came out about 2 min after ordering. The burgers were very dry as well and the two people that ordered those ended up ordering the guacamole to fill them up instead. The guac was probably the best thing we ordered. Drinks were good! My kids loved the robotic server and that added a fun twist to the experience. Glad we tried but prob wouldn't return.

Least bothersome of the complaints that I have about the Carla restaurant is my waitress's appearance. When I dine at a restaurant, I expect the waiter to look like he or she works there, and not like a casually dressed diner waiting on me, as was the case.
I started off with the "chicken noodle soup." This restaurant's version gives "chicken noodle soup" a bad name. The bowl of soup had a large amount of (the Italian pasta) penne. It had a lot of chopped carrots and tiny, sparse amounts of chicken. What was supposed to be broth looked and tasted like the water the pasta was cooked in.
I requested my "Carla's Burger" to be cooked medium and it was served well done. It came with French fries or salad, I chose the salad. One of those two orders placed there caused diarrhea at home that night. At 11 p.m. my waitress was mopping the floor with a liquid that had the smell of a cleaning product, which was a disturbing experience while I was eating.
