Dining at Carla was a fantastic experience. Big props to Oscar for his professionalism and hospitality and making my group of 14 feel comfortable and happy. The food was amazing and the ambience is beautiful. Will be back for sure!

Couldn't have picked a better place to dine in Midtown. The staff/management were welcoming from the start (our waiter in particular could not have been more personable and accommodating), the food and drinks were delicious, and to top it all off, they gave my daughter a surprise birthday celebration for the ages — complete with a robot to deliver the churros donned with sparklers and singing that engaged the whole restaurant! Thank you, Carla; we'll be back!

It takes a truly horrible experience for me want to leave a poor review- but our party’s dining situation here went from bad to worse.
We had a dinner reservation for 7, drinks took forever which our server warned us about, we said that’s okay we understand we are a big party no big deal. We all order at the same time, 40 minuted pass 3/7 meals come out. 3 cold burgers, cold fries that you can tell have just sat there. FINALLY our drinks come, they were meh. The menu is not cheap so I couldn’t believe it was acceptable to bring half of people’s orders out—- COLD mind u.
One person in our party does not eat pork for religious reasons, they emphasized no pork and even said it’s an allergy to ensure it wouldn’t come on the burger. 20 minutes pass and the rest of the food comes, one item being a burger with bacon. We had already waited so long for the food, she asked them to just cancel it instead of remaking it. Our server did not even come to apologize or check on us once, didn’t offer to replace it or AT LEAST apologize for the inconvience.
We got out of there as fast as we could- looking around I saw much of the same at other tables with ppl missing drinks, one person having their food and the other waiting. It was a mess. Wouldn’t reccomend not worth the price

We chose this restaurant because it was close to the theater we were attending. What a great surprise! The food was very tasty, with generous portions. The service was freindly and efficient. The "feel" of the restaurant is fairly casual, but comfortable. All of that would have been enough to get us to want to come back, but then one of our party left their phone at the restaurant - the manager (owner?) waited for us long after the restaurant was closed to return it to her - he would not take any compensation for this - what a lovely, lovely guy! We will definitely make this a go-to restaurant for when we are attending theater.

So glad I found this place! We came at 5 and didn’t need a resy. We were seated immediately and were helped by a super friendly waiter. The food was beyond delicious. We got the guacamole to share and I got the cauliflower salad with fried chicken. It was so big and delicious. Also got a margarita - 10 out of 10.
