Carlos is great so wanted to try this place. Pastries were good, the cannoli latte was delicious, but the service was mid to poor. Didn't acknowledge when we were waiting, when we did talk to them they seemed annoyed to have customers....disappointing.

So we went to the one near to the port authority. I love the Dubai cheesecake. The people were nice as well. Its kinda expensive though

We were excited to go and see what the hype was about. We put in our order for pastry and waited for our name to be called to pay. While we stood there the customer ahead had ordered a black iced coffee the cashier made it with milk and when she was asked to make it again she said she was too busy. When we tried to order a cappachino she said we should have ordered it when we ordered our pastry and she was too busy to make it. Isn't thay her job? so we paid, got back in line to order coffee and were told we couldn't order coffee there, we had to order it from the cashier who had just told us she was too busy to make it. We left very unhappy This was on Sunday morning, around 11:30 on memorial day weekend in the Time Square store. Not a good experienceTotally disappointed.

Located in Times Square Carlos Bakery was always on my bucket list! Carlos bakery is a vibrant, exciting bakery with lots of delicious options. You can order from the checkout or they have the electric checkouts too! Question were long (not surprisingly) but the staff were working hard and the line was going quick so don’t walk away if you see a que as it won’t take long to go through!

Took my order right away but had to wait a while for my Oder. There was only 1 customer a head of me? I got the rainbow cookie latte, regular coffee and 1 slice of pepperoni. Pizza came first after 5 minutes. Latte came after 12 minutes and looked different from pictures. Then the regular coffee came 5 minutes after the latte? I noticed the staff huddled having conversations and not focusing on the task at hand. I have been to Hoboken and Orlando many times and the service was better and efficient. Food was very delicious. I will try the location on Broadway next time.
We were visiting from another state for another event and had some extra time. The person with me knew this was nearby so we stopped in. The food was great and there was an amazing selection. We sat at the window seats to enjoy watching the city pass us by as we enjoyed our treats.

I ate my desserts 4 days after returning home to MD and I probably wouldn’t have been able to leave if I ate them during my last hr in NYC RACING to the train station 10min before take off which is not ideal or recommend but I made it with a back full of sweat. 😅
