The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was divine. The vibe was very New York classy chic and wine list superb. Make reservations ahead of time—on a Wednesday night the place was at full capacity. Food was delicious and served with care and pride. Definitely worth a visit!

Lovely ambience, attentive service, and great tuna crudo app. My main was a lamb dish that just felt a bit disjointed with way-over-vinegar’d veggies on top. The squid ink pasta was fantastic however.

Delicious food, the pasts was fresh and tasty sauces, the Prosciutto and Parmesan were perfectly on point (with the Prosciutto being soft, lean and tasty). The bartenders were great, wonderful mixology and all the staff worked together, helping in every job! Ambience was great

, Food was beyond amazing.
We sat at the bar.
Sol, our waitress, was kind, helpful, and absolutely wonderful — just like the rest of the staff.
Beautiful place, fun vibes, and honestly, I’ve never enjoyed pasta and salad this much.

We ordered the focaccia, the panzanella, and the burrata — all of them were absolutely delicious. My husband told me it wasn’t polite to lick the plates, so I didn’t… but I really would have.

For the main course, we had the corn agnolotti (pretty sure God made that one himself) and the lobster mafaldine penne. Perfectly balanced and insanely good!!!
We fought over it.
I won.

And most importantly — all of the cheeses were pasteurized, so I could finally indulge in everything like a real person.

Go there ASAP!!

Good quality Italian restaurant w traditional menu. I went on Monday night dinner, so it wasn’t very business. Nicely decorated. Server was very diligent. Sommelier wasn’t too knowledgeable w wine. Food quality is very good, and I forgot how large American portion is.

This is my kind of place: moody vibe with great food. I had the zucchini fitters (delicious), the rigatoni and affogato for dessert. If you're thinking of the 3-course prix fixe menu, make sure you calculate what you're getting. Sometimes it's worth it, but not always. Not all dishes in the menu are included so keep that in mind.

A nice touch was the bidet! This is on the main floor (I believe they have 2). It just added to the entire experience!

Top tier dining experience during Restaurant Week in NYC at Carlotto!
From the moment we walked into the restaurant, everyone took great care of us. The menu selection was excellent. The service was prompt and welcoming, considering the full occupancy of all 75 seats. Every course was delicious. Thank you for a wonderful visit, we will definitely be back soon!

I brought my boyfriend here to celebrate his birthday. I was hoping for the elegant experience they boast about on their website. I made a reservation for the dining room (pic attached). Instead, they seated us in the far back corner in the bar area. I was horrified as this is not the vibe I was going for. This area gives after work happy hour vibes and there were people in jeans and sneakers. Dont get me started on the loud music and the tables
being so close that when you get up to use the restroom you have no choice but to put your butt in your neighbors face . We were overdressed expecting a high end experience. The only high end experience was the bill. The food was good but being placed in the bar area killed the experience. Highly disappointed!

I've never been so disappointed with a restaurant week menu in my life!

For all the talk about being vegetarian friendly, note they had just 1 entree option for vegetarians and the vegetarian option was marked up (not cheaper), They asked if they could bring bread for the table and then charged us for it.

Burata was very good, pomodoro and afagatto werent special.

I pent 100 dollars per person for bread, burrata, tomato sauce, afagatto. Awful value.

Vegetarian options: For restaurant week, you can have salad, burata, and spaghetti in tomato sauce.

Food is very good. Prices about 30% too high. $30+ for a pasta and it better fill you up! Here it does not.
