Came in to sit a while and enjoy a refreshment after walking all day. Found the most delightful pub that was being overseen by a charming and inviting bar keep. Perfect experience. If we are back on the East side... we'll be stopping for another round.

We had a splendid evening at Carlow East! Francis, the bartender, is a ROCKSTAR! He pours the perfect pint of Guinness! He was so welcoming, convivial, and humorous! This is a gem of a pub, and Francis is the GOAT! Slainte!

This bar is super welcoming! If you’re white. I’ve been here twice because a couple of my colleagues keep dragging me here. Every time I come here I feel really uncomfortable as a person of color. The bartender and the owner are extremely unprofessional and condescending. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Bartender kicked out friend for accidentally bringing in a drink from another bar. Bartender said “out.” without asking if he could just finish the drink outside (btw it was just an empty can). It seemed like this was a case of profiling, which is, unfortunately, not surprising.
