We were in NY for a week. So thankful we happened upon this diner! We had brunch there 2 days, and drinks before a play. The food was amazing, as were the drinks, but the best part was the staff!! I loved the vinaigrette on the brunch greens that accompanied my omelet. Would LOVE to know the brand or the recipe! Eat here! You'll be happy you did!

Made reservations morning of and was sat within minutes of getting there. Love that they have a kids menu. Food came out very quickly and was so good! One of my favorite breakfast meals I had while in NYC. Had a vanilla latte that was very good as well. Can’t wait to go back!

Carnegie Diner in Midtown is a gem! I swung by for breakfast, and wow, the food was fantastic. The eggs benedict was perfectly cooked, with a rich, creamy hollandaise. And the hash browns on the side? Perfectly crispy, just how I like ’em. It’s got that NYC diner feel but with a little extra charm and style. The staff are attentive but not intrusive, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Right in the heart of Midtown, so it’s super convenient if you’re hitting up the city’s sights. Highly recommend!

I was there on Friday and María P had very satisfactory service. I recommend her. If you go, ask her to serve you. She made us feel very comfortable and very patient when taking our order.

The scrambled eggs were nice and fluffy, the toast was a bit cold and the salad was good. I just wish they didn’t throw the vinaigrette on to finish the salad as I don’t like vinaigrette and they didn’t ask beforehand

After a long flight, we stopped by for breakfast, hoping for a good meal to start our day. Unfortunately, the service was much slower than expected. It took about 15 minutes just to be seated, and then another 30 before our waitress came by to take our order.

We went with the Eggs Benedict and avocado toast, which looked nice but tasted pretty average—nothing particularly flavorful or memorable. Given the long wait and underwhelming food, I’d say it wasn’t quite worth it.

We came here with our kids before a matinee and it was perfect. We made a reservation and were seated promptly, kids menu highlight was pancake lollipops with a ton of fresh fruit. We split blueberry pancakes and an omelette. It was a fantastic meal for a family with elementary aged kids. Thank you!!

Such a great spot! So many great options make this a must on any trip to NYC! Try the pastrami and corned beef, and the burgers are also super juicy and delish.

Though a bit far from the Lincoln Center movie theaters, made the walk to Carnegie Diner and had a wonderful meal. Served by attentive wait staff and seated by friendly hosts.

We are locals and love to come and enjoy breakfast and dinner at this beautiful establishment. The whole team is truly amazing!!! Angie the manager, the bartenders and the waitstaff! Shoutout to Maria V and Sebastian for always making our visits so pleasant. The carrot cake is to die for! Such good NY strip steak and the Moscow mules are so good! We come here twice a week.

Carnegie Diner in Midtown Manhattan is a total gem! Right in the heart of the city, it’s the kind of place that draws you in with its classic diner charm and keeps you coming back with amazing food and a warm vibe. The menu is huge, covering all the bases with comfort food classics and creative options alike. I had their French toast, and it was perfection—thick, golden, and just the right amount of sweet.

The service was fast and friendly, and even with the busy atmosphere, the staff made sure everything was spot on. Carnegie feels like one of those places where you can settle in, relax, and just enjoy a great meal without any rush.

And don’t even get me started on the milkshakes! They’re over-the-top delicious and perfect for a little indulgence. This diner is a Midtown must-visit, whether you’re after breakfast, brunch, or just a break from the city’s hustle. Highly recommend giving it a try—you’ll leave happy and full!
