I made a reservation through Opentable for Carroll Place for a New Year's Eve dinner. I received multiple forms of communication (texts and emails) leading up to the night confirming my reservation. This includes a text I received a few hours before the reservation was set to begin. I showed up on time to a completely empty restaurant. I spoke to a few employees and said I had a reservation, showed them the text confirming. They said they were not taking any reservations for that night and shrugged their shoulders and told me to take it up with the website. The reservation was for a party of 6 on New Year's Eve and most all restaurants in the area were completely full for the night. They were incredibly rude and dismissive and refused to take accountability for the fact that they did not change their schedule on Opentable. Overall, clearly a poor experience with this restaurant and the staff.

Nothing but great things to say about this venue. I “lost” my jacket and went looking around like crazy for it. Only to find that the current workers had kept it in a safe place when they found it. Genuinely a great and safe bar. Would 10/10 recommend.

I went with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday during brunch, and we were shocked to see the bill at the end. It was extremely pricey based on the food we got, which was nothing too great, pretty mid. We also got told about an additional fee for having a cake we brought after we had sang happy birthday and cut it. The service was alright, nothing extraordinary. I’ve eaten in other places much better food that was nowhere near that expensive.

I was a bit disappointed. I picked this restaurant for a quick bite before a jazz show. The menu on Open table shows diverse offerings, but when you get there, the menu is very limited. They need to update. The truffle fries were soggy. The drinks were good.

Went here last night for dinner. It was pretty empty. The food was mediocre at best. I got the vodka pasta and it tasted like boxed pasta with jar sauce. It just wasn’t creamy at all. We also ordered the truffle fries which not sure they even had any truffle on it didn’t smell or taste like truffle and there was no Parmesan. Friend got the pizza which was just OK. It’s pretty thin, but he enjoyed it overall. I probably wouldn’t come back here for the food though. Waiters were nice And the atmosphere was lovely.

I think the allure of this restaurant is just a location. The food was pretty mediocre. We ordered truffle fries that didn't smell taste or even look like they had truffle oil on them and had no Parmesan. Either pasta was OK. I got the vodka pasta. It tasted like boxed pasta with jar Sauce. It wasn't creamy at all friend. Got one of the pizzas which was OK. It looked like a flat pizza overall vibes are good, but I wouldn't go to this place for the food.

Had my 21st Birthday dinner here, it was AMAZING! All of my friends loved the food. The restaurant is beautiful! Vibes are awesome, we'll definitely be back! I had the best night!!
I booked a dinner for 16 people for a birthday and we had a great time. We got the private dining area upstairs for our party which was nice, we got some complimentary lemon shots and all the food was delicious. The Nutella pizza at the end was the perfect dessert. Would definitely do it again! All my guests loved the food.

I thought I had misheard but there it was. Absurd as well as the late night fee when the place was practically empty, very disappointed.
