Had my 21st Birthday dinner here, it was AMAZING! All of my friends loved the food. The restaurant is beautiful! Vibes are awesome, we'll definitely be back! I had the best night!!
I booked a dinner for 16 people for a birthday and we had a great time. We got the private dining area upstairs for our party which was nice, we got some complimentary lemon shots and all the food was delicious. The Nutella pizza at the end was the perfect dessert. Would definitely do it again! All my guests loved the food.
I love loud music but the speakers right above bar seats are too much….44 dollars for two jack and cokes was a bit too much as well

Delicious fresh pasta. Good service. A bit too dark in restaurant and music too loud. I would prefer softer contemporary Italian music.

Carroll Place is the old Kenny's Castaways. Loved the place back then and love it now. Great vibe, stop in.

Food was alright, but we were starving so that probably made it taste a little better. Standard pizza and pasta with nothing super special about it. Prices were a little bit higher than I would have expected, but nothing super unreasonable.
Overall it did the job and filled up my stomach nicely. Each dish was just enough for a hungry person.

Waited over 15 minutes to get water after being seated, and it was 85 degrees today. The food makes up for the slow service. Great French toast! Very loud, had to yell to have conversations with my friend. We didn't get the bottomless brunch, but everyone around us did. We also ordered the rosemary wings which were excellent. Truffle French fries which were perfectly cooked.
Service is top notch. Good brunch menu. Fun spot.

They do a great drunk brunch. For parties of 8 or more, they do a family style brunch that was fantastic! The vibe feels like an old theater. The music is very loud for brunch depending on the vibe you are looking for.

EXCELLENT all around. We dined “Al fresco” as it was a beautiful evening. Excellent food, wonderful service and reasonable prices. Perfect East Village location. A few steps from clubs, shops, and a short walk from #6 Sunday line. Mention ur on a “date” and enjoy a complimentary glass of Prosecco, very nice touch. What more could you ask for.

We always forget about this place since there are many other Italian restaurants in the neighborhood but then we go here and remember that it is very good!!! The pasta (orecchiette) was very delicious....it was more of a pesto than the usual broccoli rabe/sausage combo and I really enjoyed it. The pizzas are great too with that nice bit of char on the crust. Yum. We were seeing performance nearby and had a bit of time so we ordered dessert. Oddly, it took some time to be served. I say "oddly" because up until then the service was great. We had to eat it quickly to make the show. Not sure what happened but overall the experience was excellent. We will definitely go back.
Our server checked in on us maybe once and then disappeared so someone else had to take over. The food was good, the bottomless deal is great but the drinks are extremely mid. The sangria is strange and not sangria.
Great deal for brunch! Service is a little attentive to the point that you feel a little rushed (while ordering and dining as well as on your way out). Food is solid. Best part is the bottomless drinks with the brunch. Also a bit noisy, so make sure you enjoy a rambunctious environment.
To be fair, this is a bar, and we went for brunch, so . . . food was highly average, but sounded great on the menu.
The service was fantastic! the ambiance was immaculate!! and the food, oh my god the food was SO GOOD! Also highly recommended the honey deuce cocktail!
