Loaded means something on top…not completely bare and plain. I am so glad I added chicken to my invisibly loaded sweet potato or it would have been a $10 baked potato. I already saw it was expensive but I didn’t feel like walking around to find something else. Next time I will keep going. Nice staff though.

My second time here. Literally yesterday when I asked for a salmon burger bowl I got a BURGER because the girl over the counter had no idea what’s the difference between BOWL and burger…
I came back today. Same issue, I tell the man over the counter that I want a burger BOWL with salmon and he starts to tell me that the BURGER comes with a choice of side. I literally had to tell him 4 times and then finally showed him on the menu what is the BOWL because he had no idea.
He doesn’t know the menu but after he took my order he was quick to jump on his phone… Here’s an idea: what about less time on the phone, more time doing your job right?!
Last thing: BOTH restrooms were apparently out of service…interesting, call a plumber. By the law all restaurants with seating MUST have a restroom which customers are ABLE TO USE.
Thanks, won’t be coming back..

The food is very overpriced but that could be overlooked if the food was outstanding. The food is not outstanding, it is very bland but it is good. A simple meal ends up being much more than competitors. But since Carrot express markets itself as a healthier option it can be justified. They do not accommodate gluten allergies. They charge a customer extra for substituting for a gluten free wrap but then continuously says they won’t do it any more, even if I am willing to pay.
Staff is extremely rude and treats customers in a disgusting manner. They do not communicate appropriately. Many coworkers of mine have been faced w similar issues and do not go back to Carrot express anymore.

I stopped in to find out if it was all about carrots. Its not, great variety. I had the carrot cake which was quite good, a bit too much sweet, but I ate every last crumb. My reason for 4 and not 5 stars has nothing to do with the food. Its the clean up staff. When are restaurant managers finally going stop having the staff spray cleaners when peoeple are seated within inches. Organic, good for the environment sprays blah blah make no difference. Its disrespectful to those eating. Let eaters eat in peace and use a cloth. Spray later!

After having the Mario bowl, I can see why this place took off. I ordered a smoothie, an entrée, and a dessert. I ordered the Julie's smoothie, Mario's favorite chicken bowl, and banana bread. The banana bread was quite good, and the smoothie was great, but the Mario's favorite chicken bowl was definitely the scene stealer.
In addition to good food, the venue was so spacious, stylish, clean, and bright. The staff were friendly too.
