This is my second time there and it seemed like they were trying to update things? There was no cocktail menu and when I went to add another item to my order they said the kitchen was closed at 9pm, but never told us. I left still hungry and underwelhmed

The waiter seemed like he didn't want to be there, barely checked on our table. Will not go back

Not at all on par with anything that should be associated with Dani Garcia. All in all a very disappointing experience.

A bit of a mixed review. The food was outstanding and we enjoyed everything we ordered. As others have noted they were out of several things, notably from the wine list. It all worked out well enough. The service/pacing was odd as I'm used to Chicago restaurants where you put the order in all at once and the server/kitchen course things out. Basically everything we ordered came out at once...which seemed odd for tapas. I came here with a co worker after work so we were fine to just make it a quick dine.

It doesn't seem like this place will be around much longer. It was very empty on a Saturday night, and the service was just ok, as if everyone saw the writing on the wall and was ready to get out of there. The food is good, but absolutely not worth the prices. You can get similar Spanish dishes in NYC for less.

Some dishes were outstanding, like the croquettes, but the seafood paella was dry and lacked flavor. The G&T, however, was excellent. Unfortunately, the service was inconsistent; after placing our order with one waitress, another would come by just minutes later to ask for it again.

The service was great. Kitchen was spot on, we ate most of the menu and everything was wonderful. The calamari a little too much artwork. But a great experience. Thanks to the staff.

The food was good.. Whatever they left that is. 4 out of the 5 things we wanted was sold out. The restaurant closes at 10 pm but the bar service closes at 8 pm (?) We had to keep searching and calling for our waitress.. I don't mean to sound too negative, the food is tasty but I'm not sure I'll be back.

Overall food was good. Black ink paella was served warm. Not piping hot like I’m used to at other restaurants with the offering.

Appetizers and my old fashioned cocktail were on point. Wife’s lychee martini was not impressive.

Decor was nice, but not elegant for the prices charged. Overall a 4/5

We reserved the dining room, arrived right on time, but the hosts lied straight to our face that the lounge table they sat us at is ‘part of the dining room’. And then later when we showed them we booked ‘dining room’ on resy, the female host decided to tell us they didn’t see it on their end. No apology given but a lot of attitude.

Tasty food, an excellent selection of tapas, and very friendly and attentive service.
The pancetta was a nice surprise, as even though it is a simple appetizer, it is not easy to find. The octopus was my favorite, as the mix of flavors was interesting and a great opening for the paella.

We made a reservation at Casa Dani in New York for our trip on December 11 almost two months in advance. Last night, out of nowhere, the restaurant canceled the reservation without even the courtesy of a phone call or text. This level of disregard for customers is incredibly disappointing. If they can’t respect their guests’ time and plans, what can you really expect from the food or overall experience? Definitely not the level of professionalism you’d expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Avoid if you value reliability and good service.

Nobody answers the phone. Kind of weird

I am Spanish and I know some Dani García restaurants there, I have not understood anything about this place in New York: mediocre food, bad service, it was extremely cold (dining with a coat on), the music was very loud so people spoke half-heartedly. shouting Anyway, inexplicable, dear Dani García, look to see what is happening because the disappointment has been great! Greetings
