Casa Mono has a well-deserved spot on the Michelin-recommended list — and it shows in much of the food. The skirt steak was outstanding, full of flavor and perfectly cooked, and the mussels were equally impressive. Most of what we ordered hit the mark, though the lamb was a letdown, feeling pretty mediocre compared to everything else on the table. What stood out, besides the dishes, is how different the dining rhythm feels compared to Spain. Over there, you can linger for hours,...
Some really great quality seafood spot in Gramercy. Definitely on the pricier side, but these dishes are a great introduction for semi-exploratory eaters. Nothing crazy, but good quality ingredients with classic flavors with a modern spin. Some great dishes were the pulpo and razor clam. If you can, I recommend sitting outside on a sunny day.
Lamb belly, duck liver, Arroz Negro will blow your mind. Every dish is packed with flavors that compliment one another so well.

Creamy egg was good too. Didn’t like the razor clam much - found it to be chewy
