High quality food and service. I usually order from the midtown location, but I just tried out the Union Square location. Plenty of options at a fair price, and I love how aromatic and fresh all of the ingredients are. I rely a lot on this place to get a healthy meal, and I appreciate that the portions are generous. The staff is so kind and even gave me free bread! Truly obsessed with this place.

Service was unprofessional and rude. The attendant saw me waiting to place my order and instead took everyone’s order standing in front of me. In the end, the attendant left for 30 minutes without saying a word

The woman server gave my family food with an attitude. The food was burnt and the meat was unsatisfactory. The same woman eyeballed my family after we discussed the poor service and poor food quality. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Discovered this gem of an Italian healthy eatery in the bustling market at Zero Irving Union Square. The on-site pictures and descriptions drew me in, and it was truly delicious. An exquisite mix of tradition and innovation. After trying the Miso Salmon Burrata Sandwich, I ordered the Miso Salmon Avocado Protein Plate to take-away. Both outstanding. Super friendly and passionate staff who eagerly explained their various dishes and ingredients. Will definitely be back!

Such a great and pleasant surprise! Amazing food and great service!
I went to the Urbanspace food hall to meet a friend and we decided to have the Miso Salmon Burrata Sandwich and the Miso Salmon Avocado Protein Plate.
We were served very quickly by a smiley lady. The sandwich was surprisingly larger than expected and served hot from the oven in the lightest, crispiest focaccia bread I had in the US. The combination of creamy burrata, salted lemon (which the lady explained was a special recipe they created by marinating lemons in their juice, salt and a hint of sugar) and Miso Salmon with Jalapeño mayo was inventive and incredibly flavorful.
My friend who had the Miso Salmon Avocado Protein Plate was also very satisfied.
Totally recommend this place and will definitely come back for lunch.

best spot by union square for sandwiches and bowels ... and an occasional treat-yo-self bombolone (italian doughnut).

Ordered a "spicy lemon" chicken sandwich, but received plain chicken without the sauce pictured on the menu. Very disappointing and tasteless.
Casa Toscana is located in a busy food court, popular with students and workers from NYU. The food seemed freehand healthy. Service was quick and polite.
