Table of 4 for wife's birthday. Sent us to the bar to wait to be seated and then they forgot about us for 30 minutes. Had to go chase them. Then put us on 4th floor in almost empty room. Eventually filled up and they put a large party of the noisiest women I have ever had the displeasure of being around. I love ambiance, but this was deafening and people could hear conversations. They forgot to bring out the wagyu fried rice or second glass of wine I requested. Overall well below expectations for $800 meal.

I've dined at Catch several times across the US. I really like NYC Catch. Food was amazing. Server was great. We ordered scallop and salmon belly nigiri -great, crispy rice - great, rock shrimp - great, center cut steak - tasty and tender, wagyu rice - great would've been even better if we added lobster, hit me chocolate cake. I don't drink so I ordered mocktails the lychee martini was great but I didn't like the virgin expresso martini. They need to work on that flavor. Great experience. Glad we chose it. There are tons of great places to dine in NYC but I'm glad we chose that one last night.

The food was amazing, the service was great! Only thing is that we got charged twice for the lobster. They did the right thing and let me know they refunded me the money it's still not showing on my statement but I trust they will do the right thing.

We enjoyed cocktails on the cocktail patio before dinner – it was so nice to be able to do that and then sit down to a fabulous meal. Everything is wonderful!

Rolls, nigiri and Wagyu gyoza were fantastic, the shrimp and cauliflower hot apps were too huge and just uninteresting and just sugary basic sauce. It was fun, but not fine dining.

Service and food was fine. We had the tasting menu. Nice 4th floor patio by the high line. We all noticed that the Aesop hand soap bottle was filled with dial soap, which made our group wonder what the other corners were cut.
