K.mariax insta - First time in New York. I wanted to visit this place and was very excited. Lovely environment, jazz music and a nice bar. Quite and intimate setting. The staff were attentive and service was very quick. Everything was on time and didn't miss a beat. As it is small they keep timing and you can't stay longer as expected. Butternut squash soup was delicious and enjoyed the aubergine as well. The rocket salad and lobster salad were overall too salty.

Do not recommend it, in comparison to the ones in amsterdam or barcelona this one was horrible. First thing in ny for 170e per person you can eat much better, that is my main concern, they push the plates on you and they rush you out. Service was medium and the tip was included so not nice.

The cocktails in my bill had some upcharges that I have never seen before in any other restaurants including Cecconi's Miami and Dumbo. I did not ask for a more expensive substitute for the liquor on the two different cocktails that we had; the answer from the restaurant sounded like something from Applebee's

we where enjoying a great romantic night and then a friend called to join us. we saw an open seat at the bar, so we held it fir a bit. when a couple cane in and asked if we could give up the seat, we graciously obliged. However, when our friend arrived, we saw that seat had opened next to the couple, so my fiance asked if they would mind moving over. The gentleman was very polite and agreed and asked this day to move over. a little wanna lay 21 we asked for around the drinks, the bar tender to almost to the manager had barred my fiancé from 4 drinks because apparently the woman next to us complained about us asking them to move over. The manager asked us to not drink anymore so we left.

Had an excellent small meal yesterday. Fantastic Butternut Squash soup and one of best Tuna tartares I've had . . . fresh and flavorful. Our experience was made even more pleasurable by the Cecconi's stellar team. Three of the standouts were Meredith, Dana, and Dorothy. Such a relaxing space as well.

Great food. Been there for dinner with Italian food and for our last breakfast in NYC. Place has great vibes regardless the time of the day.

Food was decent, but probably priced $15 too high for the quality.

We visited this restaurant without a reservation, and while it was a nice gesture that the staff accommodated us, unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing.

The ambiance initially set high expectations with its lively atmosphere and full house, promising an authentic Italian dining experience. However, the reality fell far short. We ordered a salad, two additional dishes, pizza, and pasta, and the bill came to nearly $200. For the same price, we’ve had vastly better experiences elsewhere, such as at Rezdora, where the food quality is exceptional and the service impeccable.

Here, the food was underwhelming. The pasta was so salty it was inedible, and the spaghetti was clumped together, which suggested poor preparation. The other dishes were forgettable, not nearly reflective of the price or the restaurant’s apparent popularity.

The service compounded the disappointment. Dirty plates piled up on the table, creating unnecessary clutter, and a glass of wine was served with lipstick stains, which was frankly unacceptable. Adding to the frustration, we were offered additional plates during the meal, but there wasn’t any room for them. Later, when we requested clean plates, the staff’s reaction made us feel like an inconvenience.

Unfortunately, this was not the experience we were hoping for. Both the food and service left much to be desired, and it’s unlikely we’ll return. For the price, there are far better options with significantly higher standards.

I like the secret Italian spot beneath the hotel. Food is amazing and top-notch.

The services European style and excellent.

Oh my goodness every dish I've had there is so good... I had to lamb ragu last time. Heavenly perfect. Spicy tangy sauce chunky with vegetables.. today fresh made pasta, with the bread and the olive oil.. It's a place to take a pause and really enjoy life.
