Cesca is closed! We made a reservation through OpenTable, and met there, only to find out it was gone. I can't figure out how to get OpenTable to remove Cesca as an option. OpenTable: please take note!

The place was closed as of April 17, 2021 nut it was not reflected in the OpenTable App. We went there and had to find someplace else. Sad to see it gone. Not sure if it's permanent.

This restaurant is closed. I don't know why reservations are still available at opentable. We went there at our booked time and discovered that the place was totally deserted. It seemed like they have been close for a long time already.

This is such a great spot! Love love their pasta. Greta for cozy dinners or big groups.

You cannot beat the oysters here - perfectly chilled and so sweet and fresh. All the horseradish you want as they bring you the little jar.

Found them on Google and decided to try them since everything in San Francisco is kinda closed or don't have dine in. Omg the food and service was unbelievably amazing. Waited for about 40 minutes which totally worth it.

I call this marvelous restaurant often since I enjoy the good mood that is unique to this place. The staff is extraordianrillyremarkably loyal and experienced. The service is certainly quick. Not to mention, the food you eat is magnificent. I have been there many times and I was never disappointed. The expense is modest. I highly recommend this restaurant to to all.

We had dinner for 2 on Sunday Jan 6 and were very pleased with the food and also the excellent service . We were visiting and staying in a local hotel and very satisfied that we selected Cesca . The wine selection by the glass was quite good . The rack of lamb was prepared perfectly and the desserts were particularly good some of which are made in the restaurant . It was a quiet place where you can have a good conversation as well . The manager on duty also were very attentive . We will certainly return and bring friends .

We went out to dinner last week before the Ranger game to Cesca which was new to us. The service was good and the food was delish. I will admit that I had some doubts based on some of the reviews that I saw on Yelp but I will always take a chance and see what happens. This time out I was glad that we did. The bartender was a very nice and mixed a good cocktail. The decor was very nice. The only mixup came when I was brought out the wrong appetizer but no big deal. Mine was worth the wait. The waiters were knowledgeable about the menu and very nice too.

The first time we dined at Cesca was a couple of months ago and we received terrible service - our waiter couldn't be bothered to help us, check up on us, or even acknowledge our existence. The food was decent so we decided to try it again this past weekend and we were actually saying, "it can't be as bad as last time, it's just not possible." Well, this past weekend solidified that we won't be coming back. We were at our table for almost 15-minutes before we received water and asked if we wanted drinks. We actually had the maître d' as our server because they didn't have enough waitstaff to handle the (not packed) restaurant. We had to ask for bread as we waived down someone to check in on us. They never took our main course order so as the appetizers came out we had the menus on our laps. As for the food: the fennel citrus salad (no taste), tuna tartar (very good), the burrata (just okay); for mains we had the pork chop (really really good) and the salmon w/ farro (good). Everything outside of the burrata and farro was made gluten- and dairy-free. As a whole, the maître d' wound up saving our dining experience. He did his best considering the situation.

My friend and I walked in on a weekday at 5pm and were immediately seated. Our server was very attentive and checked up on us throughout our meal which we really appreciated. Appetizer came out quickly, but our mains came out 40 minutes later which was quite upsetting considering that the restaurant was practically empty. Dishes I ordered: ANTIPASTI +Polipo ($24): Grilled octopus served with beans that is good for sharing. This appetizer was very good and it's something I'll definitely order again. Octopus was flavorful and not too salty. PRIMI PIATTI +Linguine alle Vongole ($29): I was looking forward to this dish, but it turned out to be a disappointing. Pasta was overcooked and it was just flavorless. Generous portions of clams though. Overall for its portions, prices are fair. But the quality wasn't up there. Cesca is nearby so I will give it another try to try their other dishes.

We used to dine often here when we lived in the neighborhood. We moved out of state 11 years ago. We we're meeting friends and decided to give it a try with pleasant memories. It did not disappoint!! Met the new owner who graciously thanked us for coming. Good time and good food.

My third time dinning at Cesca This time I brought my family and they were so happy I picked this place food was Delicious , the service exceptional even though our waiter seemed to be overwhelmed with many tables he still managed to check up on us to make sure we were doing fine to me that just means a lot .. Our food came out on perfect timing we enjoyed the juicy pork porter house and the lovely mushroom ravioli And the bolognese pasta . If you're looking for quality cesca is the place to go

Very quiet room for a late lunch for 2 . Only one other table was occupied. First there was a mix up with menus - we were each given different ones. Finally straightened it out and ordered . We had the baby kale Caesar which was good and freshly brewed delish lemon ice teas. It then took 3 times to get the salmon cooked as we had ordered it. Everyone was accommodating but seemed not to understand. My companion was very disappointed as she had eaten there many times and gave it a high recommendation. I was only happy that I had not planned to return to the office as the meal took over 2 hours.
