Cha-An Bonbon was okay! It’s a little bit on the pricey side, but it was cool to try some new Japanese desserts. The premium Hojia soft serve was worth to try. It had a lot inside of it from icecream, mochi, sweet red bean, and a biscuit. Overall, it gave me very peanut butter vibes, and it was like I was eating a peanut butter soft serve. The soft serve was around $9 which is okay priced. The strawberry ichigo daifaku, I was expecting more from. It was around $7, and the portion...
I usually have a great experience but today I noticed they used generic canned fruits in my hojicha anmitsu. Was a bit disappointed and it ruined the effect of the wonderful hojicha ice cream, red bean, mochi, and cookie topping.
I find Cha-An the Teahouse mid at best (it used to be good, but it's fallen so far), but this dessert outpost of theirs is noticeably better. The Sakura cookies were some of the softest, most buttery shortbread biscuits I've ever had. NO cherry flavor (more strawberry and raspberry), but you'll be too distracted by their beauty to care.
