My go to matcha spot! They are always consistent with my order. They have a variety of matcha flavours and each one I’ve tried definitely meets the expectation.

not usually a fan of matcha but loved the combo with yuzu lemonade (first time i had matcha that didn’t have an aftertaste of grass lol)

I came here with a group of friends so we got a few different drinks to try. Note they have a supposed “large party fee” where they charge an extra $5 dollars if you order like 4 drinks or more? Very bizarre and I have never seen this before. If you are looking for a strong matcha taste I do not think you will find it at Cha Cha Matcha. Their more “specialty” drinks however are quite yummy (aka sweet) but the Matcha flavor is more of an afterthought. The decor and space is nice and large however. There are many seats and chairs.Iced Matcha Latte w/ Whole Milk: The matcha flavor was quite non-existent. The drink tasted mostly of milk and was very pale in color. Perhaps getting it with non-dairy milk might make a difference if you were trying to get more matcha taste. I would recommend getting a matcha latte elsewhere if that’s what you were seeking out.Nitro Latte - Surprisingly had more matcha taste and was also darker in color. I think this is a better choice than the standard matcha latte.Beautiful Latte - It did look quite pretty with the white and green ombré look. Though I will say perhaps drinking from the top with the matcha does get you the matcha flavor, but when you mix the drink together it is very sweet due to the honey and bee pollen. It was not a bad drink, I could see myself getting it again but the matcha taste is an afterthought, and not the main taste after mixing.Seasonal Salted Caramel Matcha Latte - this is very very sweet and tastes exactly like salted caramel! The only weird thing is maybe you would expect it to be brown in color when it comes out but of course the matcha makes the drink be green. There is zero taste of matcha at all however, just straight up salted caramel. Good for if you just want the “health benefits” of matcha being in the drink but with none of its taste.

Nice hot latte matcha

1 star is for the service, but the matcha here is so so bad.Ordered a matcha latte and matcha lemonade, both were so bland. You CANNOT taste the matcha at all, the matcha latte tasted like a cup of milk (and it was unsweetened which should've made it stronger) and the worker was super nice and poured a bit more matcha in but it really didn't make a difference. You can see it in the photo how light the colour of the latte is, honestly ridiculous. Their brand story seems passionate and knowledgable about matcha enough and I have had and love good matcha which attracted me to them but this was not good matcha. If it was decent quality, which it seems to be (based on the colour of the matcha itself), this just goes to show how stingy they are. Super disappointed, will not be returning.

The cashier was the most unfriendly I encountered in NYC. They made me fill uncomfortable when I was looking at the menu, like I was wasting their time. I picked a random beverage to appease their looks and they took AGES to do it!!! The girl on the counter besides the cashier didn’t even know how to prepare their special season Pumpkin drink, which tasted awfully bland btw. Both of them were flirting and fooling around, which i don’t mind at all, but please just do it after my drink is done!! One that was done they kept on staring at me, laughing cuz I took my time drinking and taking pictures… It was just too rude! What else i’m gonna do in a pink matcha place otherwise??? My $10 iced latte better be making me some aesthetically pleasing photos for IG!!!! Anyways… I had great experiences coming here in the past, but not anymore :(

I went here twice. The first time was with my gf; the other time with friends. Two completely different experiences. The first time -- no complaints. Servers were friendly and everything was amazing.Second time, the matcha was good. The looks were not. I don't know what these pretentious employees think they are, but they aren't all that. One of them took my order while the other two stared into my soul to find the missing pieces of their ego, of course, to no avail. It's as though I interrupted their séance with one another because it felt like I was walking in on a family arguing with each other, and they had to pretend that everything was fine when really they have a stick shoved so far up their —Matcha came without a lid or straw. Oh well.

I needed to use the bathroom because two of my other go to’s in the area were closed and so, for having a bathroom they get five stars. This place always makes me laugh.I know what I’m getting into when I enter Chacha Matcha. Its all about looking good. They are in the same vein as Abercrombie back in the day, in that they only hire folks who are beautiful by conventional standards. The customers also have a certain aesthetic. Everything must be pretty and photo-graphable. I repeat, pretty by conventional standards. Warmth and passion don't have a home here. I knew this going in, took a deep- breathe and enjoyed the ride. Yes, they close when they want to and don't accept cash payments- these are all the reasons I find this trendy spot enjoyable in a silly way.I was still giggling as I walked over the Manhattan Bridge and so I included a photo of true beauty: our amazing city ❤️

Another disappointing experience at cha cha match. Every time I come here I get the same horrible feeling I feel at the other locations. Unwelcome. I have actually stopped going to chacha match altogether because coming in these establishments is so unpleasant. Every time I come here my order gets messed up. Doesn't matter who makes it. There is no care or consideration or even gratitude. I would suggest going to ippodo tea on 39th and park. They have actual ceremonial grade match and don't ever make you feel out of place.

Very quaint; great friendly service and awesome drinks...so hard to choose. I loved my matcha lemonade with mint.

I love Cha Cha Matcha and the employees at this location are always wonderful! However, given I’ve gone a few times to this location and my draft latte is always pure foam, I don’t think the employees know how to pour the draft matcha latte correctly. When visiting the other locations the draft latte actually consists of liquid rather than just foam and 2 sips of matcha at the bottom. I’ve also heard from others about the same experience when ordering the draft latte at the Broome Street location.

Please don't get the Matcha Latte w/ Macadamia Milk. The matcha flavor was lackluster and the drink was super watery and had a sour aftertaste. Just because they have cool milk alternatives doesn't mean you should get it :( Only reason I'm giving it a 3/5 is because I actually really enjoyed stealing my boyfriends Matcha Nitro Latte on Tap. 8/10 in my opinion!

Cha Cha Matcha is said to be known for their ceremonial grade matcha which has been popular on Instagram for instilling a sense of calmness and energy. However, when my friend and I went to get the Purple Drink and Blue Drink, we noticed that it lacked the natural matcha flavor said to be sourced from Uji. In fact, the lavender matcha was much too sweet than anticipated and the blue drink being rather stale and subtle. Be aware that this not an authentic matcha cafe nor are their prices reasonable.
