I have been to other locations before for the Ginger Turmeric Latte, which were so good, albeit a touch on the sweet side, so I stopped here for a Sunday treat and was informed that the matcha is no longer included in this latte and it would be an additional $3, making for a $10 latte alone. I acknowledge this is NYC and a treat spot, but charging $6 for a base of ginger powder, turmeric, and milk latte is ridiculous to me and blatant price gouging. Talk about losing my appetite. This chain priced me out as a customer from now on.

First timers from San Diego discovered Cha Cha Matcha and fell in love with Purple drink, soft serve and Pumpkin Spice. Great vibe, tasty hand crafted drinks and welcoming hospitality. A must-have every time we visit NYC!
Service is always great! People are always nice to customers. Matcha is always great :) also love that they have different options of drinks that include great ingredients like turmeric or lemongrass.

Given that this spot is known for its matcha, I had pretty high expectations, and my order lived up to them! I got the draft matcha latte, and it was perfect, absolutely delicious. My sister tried the purple drink, which tasted good but was way too sweet for her, so she couldn’t drink more than a few sips. The place is really cute, and the staff were alright. I’d definitely come back!
Impeccable ambience, amazing staff. The way every member of the team executed their duty perfectly in order to ensure the flow of traffic amongst customers was never overwhelming was very impressive. I love this place and its staff.

Worst matcha I’ve ever had ? I got the strawberry matcha latte and I asked the employee at the register how sweet it was. They said definitely not on the sweet side. It was way too sweet ?? it wasn’t just the sweetness. It had the worst weirdest aftertaste ever. Like raisins and oat mixed together. I just wanted a strawberry matcha. Just simple strawberry jam matcha and milk. But instead I got a horrible mixture of flavors that did not work well together. I also paid $9. DO NOT RECOMMEND ? it was so bad I threw it away and went home to make my own matcha.
