Had my birthday dinner here of 9 people and it was absolutely lovely!! Food was delicious and service was fast and attentive. Our server was super sweet and checked in on us throughout the dinner to make sure everything was okay. We had a great timeeee

Just had dessert but it was overall good and service was spectacular. Filled up the water whenever it was nearing empty. Not rushing us to get check even we only ordered desserts and stayed for awhile. Great atmosphere as well.

We just walked in, and were in for a real treat! Fantastically friendly staff, and they actually offered us to try the dish we ordered to make sure we can handle the spice level. The food was terrific and the cocktails were spectacular. Can’t wait to be back ❤️

The service was quick and attentive. Everything we had was delicious and full of flavor. Definitely a place to check out if you love Thai food!

Very noisy. It's impossible to hear my companions unless we shouted. The food was not bad but the portions were very small. So it‘s much more expensive than other Thai restaurants in the city, even if the price per dish is affordable.

We were here for dinner this past Saturday & were very happy with the overall experience. Because we were a small group (2 adults/1 child) we were not able to try many dishes. However the dishes we did ordered (recommended by the staff) were all very delicious!! Our taste buds prefer strong, intense flavors, but not too salty or sweet. We also enjoy spicy foods. Chalong met all our expectations! Service was ok as expected but we didn’t feel like it was extra ordinary (eg there weren’t really any follow up on how’s things were and if we needed anything else. The restaurant was 90% full at the time but it wasn’t hustling busy as some staff were socializing amongst themselves at some points. This is not a knock to the staff by any means. Just wanted to bring across on this experience of ours, service was just ok as expected). Atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice and I love their tasteful decor. We would definitely be back if in the areas again!

Here’s my TA$TE ratings:

Taste:5 stars/delicious
Ambience: 5 stars/beautiful & clean
$: 4.5 stars/reasonable
Treatment: 4 stars/service was very good but can improve on attentiveness
Experience: 5 stars/overall experience was great & would definitely come again

Best Thai in the area (maybe even in nyc)! Never disappoints. Menu’s innovative. Extremely quick service.

Only thing that’s not particularly my favorite is the pad thai.

Still, 10/10

Chalong exceeds expectations every time! This place makes me feel right at home with its warm welcome and energetic staff, elevating hospitality to new heights.

The food? Absolutely phenomenal! Today's solo visit featured:

1. Pla Tod: Crispy fried branzino with addictive sauce and top with crunchy garlic was on point.
2. Authentic Southern Crab Curry: Rich, flavorful, and utterly delicious.
3. Jumbo Prawns Fried Rice: Generous portion, perfectly cooked.

Portions were generous, and I couldn't finish everything (note to self: order wisely!). Luckily, my attentive server helped wrap up leftovers for tomorrow's lunch.

Chalong earns a well-deserved 5/5 stars. Highly recommended! I'll definitely return for another unforgettable dining experience.

We love Thai food and Chalong offered a variety of delicious options. We had two appetizers and two entrees, most recommended by the server and were able to feed four of us. Their cocktails are not only creative but very tasty, so don't miss the opportunity to try one.
