OMG! I love this place. I am craving it right now as I write this review.Food:If I could live off of Adjaruli Khachapuri I would. A traditional dish that is open-faced khachapuri with a blended cheese, topped with raw egg. The egg is mixed into the cheese tableside. SOOOO GOOOOD!!!! It was so good that I had one as an appetizer and one for dinner. I also enjoyed Mushroom Khinkali (Georgian Dumplings) - another delicious dish. Lastly, I had one of their spreads - Spinach Pkhali: Spinach, walnut paste, onion, garlic, coriander and topped with Pomegranate Seeds. Super fresh and delicious.Drinks:For cocktails, we had a Sassy Tangarine: Cachaca, Cointreau, fresh lime juice, tangerine, and orange bitters and an Espresso Mama: A rich and indulgent chilled espresso cocktail with Georgian Brandy, Mr. Black, fresh espresso and simple syrup. And then with dinner, I had a flight of their famous wines - I had the Amber Wine Flight - Three different amber wine styles from different grape varieties.Service:The service was super friendly, helpful, and attentive. We sat at the bar and had a great time.Vibe:I loved sitting at the bar. I took a tour around the restaurant and if I sat at a table, I would probably want to sit in the front room or at the bar. This was a great find and I would highly recommend a visit.Date of Visit: 16 March 2024

Loved the vibe - modern and a little industrial with funky dystopian-y art and vibey house music.Food was delicious and filling (very, very filling). The cheese bread is a must, we loved the mushroom dumplings (like a Georgian xiao long bao), the chicken skewers were very juicy and tender though smaller than I expected. The chicken and walnut dish (1st item in the mains) was like a Georgian version of a curry. The taste of Georgia which has a bunch of veggie dips was a bit drier than we all expected (we expected saucier dips). The honey cake and napoleon desserts were a great ending. And the wine list - all Georgian - were really interesting and worth trying. They offer flight options.Would definitely come back and visit - great place for groups, and beautiful outdoor spot in the back. We spent $85pp with drinks, mains, apps and desserts.

Loved the food initially but during my last visit I noticed that the portion size has reduced for example with Adjaruli Khachapuri. The vanilla lemonade was awesome but for some reason isn't available anymore. Taste wise definitely 5/5.

Restaurant looks way bigger inside than how you see front door . The atmosphere is very friendly and cozy .A lot of parties were celebrating birthdays at this restaurant.Just only one thing that bothered me was the line to the bathroom was long the whole night .Food was fantastic I wish I had a chance to try more dishes .It was the first time for me to try the Georgian red wine ? called Chama Sun I believe. It was amazing and became one of my favourites .

If you have never come to chama mama, please do. It is not your typical restaurant you would go to in manhattan. This is something different where you get fresh food that taste like home made with incredible flavors that your mouth will be pleased to have. Anything you order will pump your heart for more. Service is great from the moment you open the door. Everyone that works there welcomes you with a smile even if they are not your waiter. Will come back as soon as I can again and try other delicious items in the menu that I didn’t try. Keep it up Chama mama.

Food was fresh and very good. The wines were original and good. After that its also very simple food and its way overpriced: $100 including tip for a traditional bread dish, a small plates of potatoes and basic mushrooms (with some sprinkles of parsley and pomegranate seeds) and a kebab for one is outrageous. Also, the policy is very clear on time but if you are going to take 10 min to take the order and 20 min to bring a dish, then don’t kick us out at the due time, give some leeway. // Ok, well I did write you but you did no't reply, I guess you did not care that much, uh?

I went to this restaurant for a team lunch on Wednesday but I’ve been here a few times before. It had plenty of space and the staff were really nice. The atmosphere and interior had a cute vibe.If you're interested in trying Georgian traditional cuisine, this place is worth checking out. Also, my teammate is vegetarian and there are plenty of vegetarian options!!!What I ordered: cappuccino with oat milk, khachapuri with raw egg and lamb khinkali

I absolutely loved adjaruli khachapuri, and that was the highlight for me. I think I slept and dreamt about it even. The food was overall good, my entrees were just a tab bit on the salty side and I felt something was missing (maybe I just needed more adjaruli khachapuri). The food was savory and presented beautifully, however the portion sizes were on the smaller side.Waitress was kind and attentive to our table. Not sure why, but I think the atmosphere gave me a headache (small space, a lot of people). It was hard to even hear my partner across a small table. Also, the food for some strange reason didn't agree with me after I left.Overall, I did have a good dinner and I do recommend trying out Chama Mama and Georgian food.
