Food is great and the staff is super friendly. Came into town for 3 days and got breakfast sandwiches here every day. The staff remembered my name after the first day. In a world where friendly service is as rare as a quality product, Champs shines. Thank you!

While visiting NY for the week, my husband and I we're looking for something to eat and just so happened to stumble upon this cute little deli while walking around. And we're so happy we did! Their sandwiches were delicious and filling! We talked about them all week! You could tell this was a local Hotspot tucked away on a side street that if you didn't know it was there, you may just miss it. The owners were so sweet, and clearly knew their patrons who stopped in by name, which told me everything I needed to know about this place. It was going to be good, and boy was I was right! Would definitely eat there again, 10/10 highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat while in town!

I had a great meal at Champs Gourmet Deli on 30 Broad St, NY. I ordered the meal of the day, which included beans, rice, pork sausages with onions, and boiled vegetables. The sausage was the highlight—probably the best I've ever had. The chicken soup was also flavorful, and it’s hard to find a meal like this for under $20 in the financial district. While the atmosphere could have been slightly better, everything else was spot on. I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m in the area.

Awesome deli in NY. But I’m sure all of them are good. This place had an extensive menu and even allows a la carte ordering. Fairly priced being it’s in Manhattan.

I had a pastrami and corned beef sandwich and I’m sorry I forgot to take a picture of it! Delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful to us out of towners. We fed for of us with sodas and full Sammie’s for about $60.

I am an army veteran and a licensed stockbroker. When I went rock bottom because a broker dealer didn't pay me, I was evicted and ended up on the streets. I had no money. A manager her harassed me and cursed me off because I panhandled outside for food 1 day. It was unnecessary to go outside and start screaming and cursing me off. I am back on my feet and am still working as a broker. I do not recommend this deli because of the disrespectful management that had no respect to me when I was suffering (even as a Christian man). I was there many times when I had money, working as a broker, director, and lender. There was no reason for that behavior to someone that serviced his country (during 9/11) and went rock bottom because of a few greedy men downtown that didn’t pay me my commissions for legal work. Remember this post because surely God was testing then and they failed the test of being merciful to the poor. They didn’t even pay for the meal I asked people outside to pay so what was the problem of helping out a 9/11 vet?

Really good soup and they make sandwiches to order. The sandwich I ordered was not to my liking but that was because I didn’t specify the kind of turkey and cut. They slice it thick by default.
