The person behind the counter said they don’t accept debit cards, so I had to take cash out by using the restaurant ATM, and of course, It was not free.Food was costly compare to restaurant standards. Kebobs had no taste, but full of hot Raw Chili powder. Our stomachs suffered for Over 24 hours.I don't recommend this place for anyone.

Everything is great, I just order whatever's in the hot trays that day and it's always perfect. They give you a boatload of food and they've always been nice to me. Not a place for ambiance, just a perfect hole in the wall if you want good food. They seem to go heavy on the spices, but imo it's just the right amount. I never knew everyone was so into their chai, I'll have to try it out next time. Haven't been since covid because I'm a borough away, but wanted to leave a review since I miss them so much. I hope they're doing well. No joke, this is my first stop once I can get a vaccine. I miss the food dearly.

Very busy location, I've had chicken biryani, naan and kabobs at this restaurant over a decade ago...

Delicious food, love their samosas and their chai!

The kebabs were bone dry, must be stale. The curries were bland. If you are looking for authentic Indian/ Pakistani food, pls avoid this place. Two stars only for fresh naan and quick service.

Tried this place for the first time yesterday and now me and my pregnant girlfriend may have a case of food poisoning. If I could say anything nice, it's that the food tasted decent.

I always like this place for the quality of food and the amount of food they give comparatively to the price, it's a bargain. I'm super glad they are back in business post Covid, you should give this place a try.

I never thought that I could find a restaurant like this in Manhattan. Cheap, delicious, helal and I felt like I was at home. I always went there to have lunch or dinner. Karak tea was perfect and it was 1$. I love PAKISTAN♡ I love Pakistani. When I was there, I saw that some poor people came there and had meal without money. I felt so happy, JazakAllah ??

Good place for having a quick snack and you know what is the best thing about it? You get the chai (or South Asian tea, not the typical chai tea latte that you have in other places) for just a single dollar. The chai is a staple of the South Asian community and they really do it properly with the right amount of milk and tea leaves. I had it along with the samosa and aloo tiki. Altogether, it was just 5 bucks. Not a bad deal at all. They also have typical Pakistani or Indian entree dishes such as chicken tikka masala and biryani.

A real gem for Pakistani comfort food in the heart of the city. We really enjoyed the food. Finished nicely with a karak chai.

I give this place five stars because the food is unbelievable. It's just so good. Everything I've had here so far has made my taste buds dance around on my tongue. They cook up a good meal here. It's a good deal for your money. There was so much food and it barely cost me $10. It was so good that I ate it all and was extremely happily stuffed. I work in the city and I often think about going to this place. Who knows I might go tonight

This is about as authentic as it gets for Indian Pakistani food in America. It’s incredibly unpretentious and it’s counter service with none of the usual trappings of obscenely over the top decor such as can be found at panna garden and most Indian restaurants. If you transported this restaurant to northern India it would fit right in. Flavors are great, it’s cheap as hell under $10 for a meal . Totally reminds me of the local dive restaurants I loved while living in India

The food is awesome and feels like at home. I tried the most delicate one “ chicken biryani “, which everyone has a different perspective and it’s hard find a perfect match to your buds. But this one is very tasty and filling too.

Characterful and cheerful place with $1 chai and good food. Great to see it holding out in a rapidly changing area. Long live the diversity of NYC life - go try the place!
