Was craving Indian. Decided to finally try this spot out. It's basically a chipotle for Indian food. You either choose a rice plate or roti burrito. Add protein of your choice and extra toppings.Rice bowl you have two options for protein. Two options for rice. I Just opted for two servings chicken makhni with basmati rice and a side of roti. Its a lot of food. The meal was alright. Felt like it was lacking flavor. The roti was a little hard. I would come again though and try the samosas.

The ultimate best option for Indians studying at Columbia. The food is perfect for daily meals. It does not have heavy cream that other restaurants do. This place reminds me of "Podi Bhaji Kendra" from Mumbai. I have been eating her for a very long time and it is my go to place for affordable Indian food.Their sweet dishes are overly sweet so that can be avoided. Otherwise, it is the best location for daily meals.

I won’t be coming back here. The samosas were ok, but the Chana masala dinner was not good, and I found the chickpeas undercooked, and the sauce was somewhat tasteless.

Great spot for casual dine-in or quick takeout. Very good mango lassi, chicken makhani and samosa at very reasonable price. Wide assortment of excellent toppings for your meal as well (pickled ginger, house spicy mix, etc.)

Just ordered for the first time on GrubHub. My order was on time, the food was hot, and it was delicious! I had the chicken Makhni and the flavors were so so amazing. I’m so glad I tried this place, they are my new go-to!

This used to be my go to place for neighborhood take out. I was VERY disappointed by the quality and taste. I am convinced they must have changed owners or cooks. The order was not as requested & when I called to tell them the person who answered said no it was the correct order. Definitely will not be ordering from here again. Very unfortunate.

I had absolutely loved this restaurant a lot before.... I ate like few days ago.... and had piece of plastic bag or something... I thought it was onion peel, but after checking it, I realized that it was plastic!!Please please check it thorough... For you it may be just business but it is food people eat!I will definitely tell my institution not to ask for catering from here.

Dined in, chicken vindaloo is super spicy and I’m okay with spicy but overall the chicken makhni is very delicious and the broths surrounding the food is good, right by the train and customer service is okay, they are very polite they just struggle explaining the menu, first time trying some Indian food was ?

Chapati House is, without a doubt, my favorite restaurant in Broadway! I come here at least once a week because I constantly find myself craving their lamb bhuna, it is an absolutle "must have!" Be sure to check out the daily specials, they are always fresh, delicious and offer a sample of dishes from all over India.
