Everything here was so good and tasteful. Chicken was amazing and juicy, an if you know anything about chicken a breast can dry out fast. Not the case here, I also received amazing and fast service from the young lady in the front with braids. Boy her hands are fast.I didn't get her name but she was able to give myself and a large line of people amazing service in a timely manner. Only thing I wish to changed would be more seating.

Charles has some delicious chicken and sides! Love their food. But the service at 125th street location sucks. The young ladies who were serving the food were in the not friendly nor welcoming. I was rushed to order they packed my big order in one bag that broke right away . Rushed service just so they can gossip and be on theirs phones.

This is some good ole southern food?! Fried chicken 20 stars!!! I’ve been to this place 3 times already, I always get the veggie plate, which is 4 sides. I get greens, cabbage, black eye peas, & pot salad or string beans. Now normally I don’t get nobody’s pot salad because since our generational grandmothers have all passed away , no one can do it right ?…. But baby pan fried did ?.. I was impressed?. Somebody over 40 made that pot salad ?. The only thing I haven’t taste , was the Mac n cheese ( my heartburn be killing me ) I can’t do all those cheese at this age & the yams. The honey they use to put on the chicken is good ( I had mines on the side ) & the cheesecake is good good good !!!?. The staff is really friendly, from the front to the back. Very nice black owned business ❣️

I ordered three chicken legs. When I opened the carton, it was clear the chicken was a day old from the look. It had zero taste. Normally, I enjoyed the food from this place, but I won't be ordering again anytime soon because this is the second time I got an order that was not worth the price.

The best friend chicken in town! Classical soul food. The pan friend chicken is very delicious. Not very greasy at all. The mashed potatoes were great too. I was sad that they ran out of cornbread. It's a small place with 3 window seats to eat but well worth the food!
