Service vacillated between way too fast (my steak came out while I was still enjoying my soup) to unbelievablely slow (could not find our waiter for about 20+ minutes when trying to order a second drink) to the point that when my steak came out that night with the wrong condiments I said why even bother trying to correct it. The food itself was alright, but definitely not enough to warrant a second trip if the service is this hectic. There's so many great places to grab a steak in Manhattan, will look elsewhere in the future.

When I got to the restaurant they were “temporarily closed”. No notification that this was the case. I received several texts confirming my reservation. The only reason I gave any stars was so I could write this review. Very disappointing.

Top quality steaks. My only suggestion is to add to the fish options. Salmon is monotonous.. I was expecting to see seabass as an option. But you can't go wrong with the steak option...top quality.

I cannot recommend this steak house restaurant highly enough definitely a 10/10. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful with every bite. But what truly set this dining experience apart was the exceptional service provided by our server, Jason. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect.

Sometimes, a good lunch is needed during work hours, and Charlie Palmer fulfills that craving. We enjoyed a great two course prefix lunch during our time there. The choices were Caesar salad, scallop tartar, and lobster bisque. We chose the Lobster Bisque, which was smooth,fresh, and flavorful. For the entree we both had stak frite cooked to our liking. The fries were hot and salty (in a good way) and the steak was cooked to my liking with a peppercorn sauce. If your in the midtown area and want a filling lunch and a great price.. This is it!

Great pre show dinner with my lovely wife. Morgan was our server and she guided us very nicely through the menu. Bread was too good and of course I ate too much. The steak was great combined with the sauces, au gratin potatoes and the creamed spinach. We split the steak because we didn’t need leftovers. Looking forward to going back soon.
