I recently discovered Chatti and when visiting New York it was a restaurant that was on my list. It was a great place to eat authentic South Indian Kerala food. We got to try Beef Dry Roast, Kerala porotta, Mango fish curry, Mutton biryani and for dessert Cloud Pudding. The food tasted delicious but felt the quantity was less.

Overall was happy with the experience , the service was great and the food was excellent!
I'm a really picky eater and I'm sensitive to spice, so I was afraid I wouldn't find anything I liked here. Wanted to challenge myself to have something new. EVERYTHING I had here was delicious! Special shout out to the beef and peppercorn dish, which was probably the best beef I've ever had in my life. All of the dishes had great, complex flavors. I would like to preface this by saying that this is the food of my people and I am appreciative of this love letter to Malayali/Keralan food, especially those dishes that are typical to the St Thomas Christian community of Kerala.
