Hey, this place is pretty good and we're picky about our food. Everyone talks about it being pretty empty, which was the case when we were there, but I think they have a big delivery biz. Anyhoo, our server was super nice, the space is comfortable, our food was served quickly and it was tasty! We had the chow fun which we loved, moo shiu which was also good and spring rolls. It was all really good. Can't give a 5 because, well it's not a 5 but it's solid food!
The place was empty, which should have been our hint to run. The food was okay at best, there were some hidden gems such as the soup dumplings but everything was mediocre. The Tofu Teriyaki was okay, not enough rice to accompany the platter though. They handed us our water and it was visibly cloudy. The Miso soup was okay but it was a little too salty. Chef 28 exceeded our expectations. We were just looking for a quick bite, however we greatly enjoyed the ambience and ended up staying much longer than we originally expected. The service was great. Our server was very attentive, gave us great tips and provided us excellent service. The food was very tasty, came out quick and was well priced.
