It’s Senegal so dont show up with low blood sugar (you will wait for a proper meal). I wish Tilapia was not the staple/cheap fish of America, but they replicate well with the cheap fish. Onions in mustard on the side are phenomenal. Thiakary brings a tear to you eye, and comfort to your belly. Teranga! (Did I mention we dont eat anywhere else but home ? Jerejef!!!...
Great food but lost points for service (rather, lack thereof).Granted it was a large group that went, there were missing cutlery, missing cups, not enough water, forgotten food, etc. Food took long but there were 11 dishes for us so it's understandable, but not everything else. Chez Alain is a senegalese restaurant with real good food. The place needs to be more clean and desperately need a exhaustion system. If you want a lot of good food for a good price, no matter the hour, it is the right place.
