Wonderful food, great pre-theater dinner. We each had the fixed price meal and it was outstanding. Also, it offered Veuve Cliquot champagne by the glass. Had never seen that anywhere else so of course we had to order it! My friend ordered mussels and loved her meal. I ordered steak frites also delicious. We had different desserts and both had the pate appetizer. All in all, a perfect experience. The decor is also really great! All Josephine!

Food, ambiance, drinks were all great - Beautiful restaurant decor. We were seated at a small round table which was perfect until we noticed bugs flying around us- we didn't say anything as we were trying to enjoy the food and have a good time but being aware to shoo bugs away before they landed on our drinks. My friend and I had a girls weekend. Dinner the comedy show at Madison sq garden. Wanted a nice relaxing dinner before the show. I love French food and atmosphere. Chez Josephine did not disappoint. She had the chicken dish and I had the calves liver. When I saw that on the menus I knew exactly what I was ordering before we even got there. A special was a Chilean sea bass.
