Picked up a couple of lunches in Penn Station ,and was served by a very helpful lady! She was kind, patient and made good suggestions on what to buy. In addition after purchase, I left my phone on the counter and when I returned she happily called my number where it rang and located. So grateful there are still people like this left!! Best to you!

Didn’t even get to try the food but just one the service of finding the place and calling multiple times with lack of help was disappointing enough
Good food and convenience store as well, located in Penn station. The falafel wrap was nice and spicy. They have notably always been very nice staff there, very proactive and even offered free ice. Really appreciate the staff

Was in Penn station and kids like Mediterranean food . Of course there are some food options outside Penn station which are much better in terms of taste ,…. But when you are in the station waiting for train and you have 15-20 mins then chickpea is a good option !!
They have goood options - salad / bowl / felafel / chicken etc etc ! Service was quick .. the food was a little cold though. We got felafel bowl and it was not the best — but good for a food inside station . ? they also have other drinks and few other snack items here . No place to sit and eat . Had to sit in the stairs and eat ! Wish they had atleast a couple of chairs inside. Overall an average experience but gave 4 stars ⭐️ because of the existence of such shops inside Penn..

Every time I come to Penn Station to catch a train I stop at Chickpea for a delicious bowl. The food is amazing at a reasonable price. And healthy!

Food was okay, not great. Lamb was flavorful, chicken was dry. Only four toppings allowed. I got extra meat, small lentil soup, and a grain bowl. Total was about $25. Too expensive. Go to Kabooz instead.

Y’all need to open more locations outside of NYC.
I recently had the pleasure of trying Chickpea in Penn Station, New York, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. The Vanilla Chai Latte I ordered surpassed all expectations – the flavors were an exquisite dance on my taste buds. The perfect balance of vanilla and chai created a delightful and memorable drink. Chickpea has truly mastered the art of crafting an exceptional warm beverage on a cold day. I highly recommend indulging in their Vanilla Chai Latte for a taste sensation like no other!

I like the food. But the service I beyond terrible. I order a hummus plate and they put 2 spoon fulls worth of hummus which amounts to a very thin layer of hummus on the bottom of the bowl. This isn't the first time either, it's been going on for years and it's always the same cheapskate dude putting as little hummus as possible. I would love to grab a bowl everyday after work but they make it so hard to want to give them my business. The hummus is suppose to be the heart of the meal!!! Not a measly dressing or condiment.
