They are so inconsistently open at their posted hours. Please update the hours posted (in the window and on google) if you are not open!

I ordered a chicken sandwich from this place and it smelled old and was tiny. They have some nerve charging almost $15 for the sandwich shown below.

Really enjoyed my sandwich from here! I got the chipileno and it was surprisingly good! Great meat to bread ratio and while I think it could have been toasted a little longer - it was still delicious. The service was kind and the place gave a nice hole in the wall vibe. I will definitely be back soon.

Tried Chipilo for lunch when I had jury duty. Definitely recommend for a fast and tasty lunch. Wish I lived closer so I could have it more often! The highlight of my civic duty— almost makes me want to get selected again.

Great little sandwich shop with super fresh meats, cheeses and lettuce accompanied by great dressings and bread. The fresh brewed unsweetened peach iced-tea was really good too! Interesting mix of patrons from lawyers to tourists to those who have jury duty (like me!. Worth a stop for a good handmade sandwich with quality ingredients.

Feh! Another Pisillo wannabe but you ain't gonna be Pisillo because you are NOT Pisillo! What sets Pisillo apart from all the other Italian sandwich shops in New York City is their authenticity. Short of Parisi, no other comparable sandwich shop has their meats imported from the old country, their breads from the old country, their cheeses from the old country. Here, everything is from New York bakeries, butcher shops, and produce markets. While not a bad thing, it loses me because real deal Italian products from Italy taste much better, even if it does cost more. The sandwich comes with a lot of meat, and the meat is good. Unfortunately, the bread is on the softer side. There is little to crunchiness, little to no resistance. It felt like it was too over proofed. As I mentioned in a previous Yelp review, the bread is what binds a sandwich together. A tasty bread brings it all together nicely, even if the meat is just okay. A lousy bread undoes it all, even if the meat is tasty. Bread on these sandwiches need to work, or you just call it an antipasto salad and call it a day. With that, I will stick with Pisillo for that authentic Italian vibe. This is not a bad sandwich, but not the best for value.

I am really, really impressed. Simply delicious sandwiches on fabulous bread for fair prices made quickly in a pleasant shop. I've worked at 100 Centre Street for a long time and have consistently been disappointed with the quality of lunch options (except for Chinese or Vietnamese food, for which amazing options exist). I am really psyched to have found this place though.

A great place to get a sandwich in the area. There are many options including vegetarian ones. The smoked chicken is thinly sliced and the mozzarella is fresh.

The gentlemen working there was very polite and friendly. He made our sandwiches quickly and they came out amazing. The quality is fantastic and very fresh. The iced tea was homemade, and also very fresh. Overall a great sandwich and the prices are very fair.
