STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION!!! Don't normally write reviews ever but the service I got on 02/19/25 on 7:02PM was truly atrocious. I've never really had complaints about any Chipotle I've ever been to (and trust me I've been to a ton in all boroughs of NYC) until visiting this location. They gave the SKIMPIEST portion sizes I've ever seen in my life. When the guy making my burrito gave me my steak, I literally was able to count a total of 6 pieces only. SIX. Measly. Pieces.
You'd think that they'd at least give more normal portion sizes for the other toppings, at least? Nope! When I asked for the red hot sauce, the guy gave me 3 DROPS. Not even an exaggeration. I actually thought it was a joke and asked him for more. He proceeded to glare at me and gave me 3 more droplets of sauce. Like.. what? It's SAUCE. It wasn't even near the portion of sauce you'd get at other Chipotles if you had asked for a light portion. I had literally 2 grams worth of sauce at most. I was so baffled.
Absolutely the worst Chipotle I've ever been to in my life. Never going back despite the convenience of location for me. I'd rather walk an extra mile to literally anywhere else even if I'd been starved for 2 weeks.

This location likes to serve day old steak. I asked the employee when the steak was cooked and discovered that not only was it cooked yesterday but when I asked if I could get steak that was cooked today she replied with a nasty tone, saying “you don’t have to eat the food”. Never have I seen such a bad attitude in food service. If you’re selling day old steak sitting in a cafeteria lunch tray you don’t deserve to be in business selling $20 rice bowls, and you should probably be shut down by the health department.

Listen, I'm a simple man. I don’t ask for much. I wake up, go to work, pay my taxes, and just want a decently filled burrito bowl at the end of the day. But apparently, the fine folks at the 8th St. Chipotle think I’m here for a tasting menu.
I ordered a chicken bowl, and I kid you not, the worker looked me dead in the eyes and placed exactly THREE pieces of chicken in my bowl like she was rationing food in the apocalypse. I blinked. She blinked. I waited for her to realize the error of her ways. She did not. Instead, she just slid the bowl down the line like I should be grateful for my poultry crumbs.
I don’t take much for granted in this life, but I do expect more than three sad pieces of chicken in my burrito bowl. Step it up, Chipotle. Step it

I’ve never felt the need to leave a bad review before this, but this was the worst chipotle and all up dining experience I’ve ever had. The staff were incredibly rude, closed the dining room early (but didn’t tell us until after we had paid), and cussed us out of the door. I would rate this zero stars if I could. Avoid this chipotle at all costs, the pizza place across the street is a much better alternative.

This is one of the first times I actually have to write a review considering how bad the food and service is here. The workers genuinely don't care about their customers, and they are extremely stingy about the portioning.
For reference, look at my photo for the bowl I got today Double Protein (Chicken and Smoked Brisket) White Rice, Beans, Normal Lettuce, Light on Cheese, Salsa, Corn, Guac on side
I can literally count the shreds of lettuce and cheese they gave me... Protein was basically the portioning of one serving.
For a $20+ bowl I opened my bowl to be disappointed, and it was basically only half full.
