This was such a horrible experience at chipotle and the male pm supervisor there is so disrespectful. I had accidentally ordered at the wrong location and instead of helping me with the order, he told me that I needed to figure it out and go to that location, and there was nothing he could do for me. This happened on 7/25/2025 at 6:29 pm. The supervisor there was so horrible and made the experience so negative. I’m a supervisor myself and to see that kind of behavior was just appalling. What a terrible example to set for the rest of the crew / crew members and what a terrible representative to have in your company and store. Shame.

Food was good. But the teen in register he doesn’t know how to talk with customers ..i asked for bottle of water then he gave me their own bottle but I gently said him dont give me i wan poland spring but he was arguing why did you order .. and so on

Even though the bowl wasn't the best option for me, Jessy was so professional, dedicated and efficient, she really did her best to serve our group of lost tourists and our specific needs. The manager also handled our situation calmly. I’m just going to leave an advice to instruct the other workers about the ingredients of the food, because they weren't fully aware, I mean, who puts jallepenos on rice?? Sooo spicyy! As a Brazilian, I just wanted some rice and beans, bro 😭 anyway, they have to know what's going on the food, or it could be a really dangerous and medical situation for someone with allergies. Gladly we avoided that.

As an avid Chipotle goer, I would steer away from this specific location at 274 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10016. They have never prepared one single online order correctly and make the customers go through a difficult process to get it corrected. You will save countless headaches and time by going to a different location or any better restaurants nearby. Our office used to order 2-3x/week but will be taking a long break due to the incompetency of management at this location.
For the sake of this place, they should remove the workers who look bad. There was one worker, a white man of average height with a light blue polo shirt who looked bad. These shoddy workers, in order for things to go well, do something about it.

Update from years ago: moving this to 3 stars. I'm comparing Chipotle vs Chipotle and will call out that this particular location is giving me less within a given order but also that the place is a mess and the extra sauces etc. Are completely abandoned and not restocked. It's disappointing how much it's decreased in quality at this one
Better service than other Chipotle's I've been to. They're courteous and fast. The food is good. I've had it many times here and I've always had a good experience. There's space to sit inside and eat.

Tell your servers to be mindful when serving food, especially the meat. I have half of my taco full of roast meat fat, unacceptable.

Lots of space, good service and a good burrito bowl. They can be a bit stingy with the chicken so you’ve got to get an extra serving, but that’s the case for most Chipotle’s.

Didnt eat all day due to work, grabbed a bowl for dinner before heading home.. gave me the worst food poisoning from minight on to the next day. Absolutely terrible. Super salty. Never ever again!
