Chipotle is great, but unfortunately this is the worst location in the city. The service is awful, on many occasions.

For example, during peak dinner hours, they will have someone that has no clue how to wrap burritos....wrapping burritos. Lord bless their hearts for trying but this isn't right -- the line gets held up, and my burritos come up broken. This happened many times in the past 1-2 months. There's been instances where they had to throw my burrito wrap away and restart again, and the whole time I'm waiting at the cashier, or worse, this is happening to the people ahead of me and I'm deep in the queue. This ain't right, I'm sorry.

The attitude from the workers is also a big problem here. They'll often rip you off of your portions, and you'll have to ask to be made whole again. Other locations don't do this -- they just give you the proper portion.

They'll also insist on getting parts of your order WAY in advance. For example, asking for my choice of protein when my burrito isn't even in the press yet, and give you attitude when you tell them to slow down. This is also so they can rip you off of your portions again.

Chill out, take your time, and do right to your customers. Not rush them and rip them off.

Lastly, if you plan on going within 1 hour of closing, the protein quality plummets substantially, if they have any protein left.

Otherwise, the food itself is about what you'd expect from Chipotle. However, the service quality is by far the worst in the city. Fortunately there are nearby locations (44th & 9th, and just a few blocks north at 56th & 8th) that don't have any of these problems, and I would recommend you visit those instead.

This place is DISASTROUS, they didn't want to treat me because I was BLACK, the entire crewmember of Dominican nationality discriminated against me. The two service managers didn't want to serve me and made the other customers go over me, I had to eat next door...I don't recommend it. .. and I worked in 2016 in this store it is completely different

Just walked into this place about to get my lunch. The lady and the I guess the manager cuz he's eating on the side in front of the customers both see me walk inside. Both of them turn their head and made us think that how they did not want to take my order let's get better employees and management that actually want to work cuz that was very embarrassing..... I was already standing there for like 5 to 7 minutes. That's very unprofessional. Let me go to another fast food restaurant that actually wants my money and actually appreciate me for coming to help them out

I remember when I used to love Chipotle. This place now is dirty, fountain drinks rarely works, the service is less than ok.

I came in yesterday (Friday) midday. The food and flavors are consistently good, but they strictly stick to portion sizes, and if you ask for a little extra, they immediately say no—which is fine, I’m willing to pay extra. The apprentice at this location (I believe her name is Patricia) consistently has an attitude, and her shifts are usually not great (I come here often and practically know the staff). She’s always yelling at the top of her lungs for customers to get their Apple Pay or cards ready, which really ruins the experience—nobody comes to Chipotle to be yelled at. She also gets visibly frustrated if the card isn’t tapped correctly, and she’ll yank it out of your hand to tap it for you while standing next to the cashier. Honestly, I feel like she might be better suited for a role behind the scenes rather than being the face customers see.

In contrast, the general manager (Jennifer) keeps everything running smoothly, but she’s typically only there Monday through Thursday.

The cashier, however, was a sweetheart—very helpful and attentive. I could tell she’s new to this location because she’s much friendlier than the rest of the staff and actually listens to customers without getting an attitude. She definitely has the best customer service (I didn’t catch her name, but she wears glasses and is by far the nicest person there). The only reason they’re getting any stars is because of her.

Chipotle in New York lives up to its promise of serving delicious and fresh food. The ingredients were vibrant and flavorful, making for a satisfying meal. The cleanliness of the restaurant is also commendable, adding to the overall positive experience.

However, I am taking a star away due to the seating arrangement. The restaurant only offers backless high chairs, which can be quite uncomfortable, especially for kids. Additionally, the tables are small and only accommodate up to four people, making it challenging for larger groups to sit together without splitting up.

Despite these minor inconveniences, Chipotle delivers on its core promise of great food in a clean environment. With a few improvements to the seating, it could easily become a perfect dining spot.

Visiting from Atlanta and went here because it was a familiar brand.

Turns out my chipotle close to home is wayyy better. Had a steak bowl and I don’t care about portion sizes but half of my steak was fat I kept having to spit out.

Chipotle needs to trim the beef before cooking. Please!

The food would also be good if it weren't for everything else.
Staff who treat you with disdain and a very, very dirty place, to the point of not wanting to go back.
