I understand this location gets extremely busy, especially during lunch, and I don’t mind waiting in a long line when that’s expected. However, the checkout process here felt unnecessarily inefficient.
After finally placing my order, the employee who served me moved on to the next customer before checking me out, which created an additional delay. There was no one at the register, two people working expo, and several others handling mobile orders and cooking, yet I waited about 5 more minutes just to pay. When I asked if someone could check me out, I was told to wait, with attitude.
When I was finally checked out, I ordered a soda, which was placed on the counter by the register instead of in my bag, forcing me to grab it myself just to avoid further delay. At that point, it felt like the process was being slowed down for no reason.
Busy locations should prioritize a seamless flow, especially during lunch hours when customers are on limited breaks. Better coordination and customer service would make a big difference here.
As someone who works in the service industry in soho I get dealing with the public is draining, but the customer service here is awful. They act like it’s a burden for me to come in after my shift to grab food. One dude whispers so you have to ask him to repeat himself since it’s kind of loud in there and he gives attitude. Tacos fell out of wrapper on my commute home because bro barely wrapped them in one sheet of tin foil. Idk what his name is all I know is a good portion of the workers there are rude as hell and will glare at you while giving you skimpy portions.

This location honestly needs serious improvement. The food itself is great, but the service is absolutely terrible. When I was checking out, I received a code for a free bag of chips. I told the cashier, and she just stared at me and told me to scan it. After I scanned the code, she turned to her coworkers and said, “Who’s going to get the bag of chips? Because it’s not me…”
Then one coworker claimed they ran out, while the cashier insisted, “No, it’s there, you just have to grab it from the top shelf.” In the end, I never received the chips at all. When I went back to ask, the guy who helped me just shrugged and said, “I don’t know, man.”
To make matters worse, I wasn’t even given a receipt because the cashier didn’t seem to know what she was doing. Overall, this was the worst service I’ve experienced at this location.

I was there right past the opening time, and the workers just sat there looking at me, not opening the locked door. Also was there some days ago, and the bowl sizes where so tiny. Don’t recommend this location, but love chipotle normally.
the staff is so damn rude and give you three pieces of chicken and roll your eyes when you ask for more. you’re not getting paid enough to skimp this much lol
They never put enough protein in your bowl at this location then they catch an attitude when you ask for the correct amount. These hispanic children working here seem to have a Caucasian bias too.

I came here with my friend last week. we went up to order and the guy who made our bowls was very nice and everything was fine until I was waiting for the customer ahead of me to finish paying. immediately I could tell the cashier wasn't in the best mood she was 100% upset. when it was my turn she grabbed my bowl and rang me up, I asked for a medium cup and that's it, I didn't want to add to her day. my total came out to $32 and some change I thought it was crazy but I just thought it was bc it's Manhattan. when me and my friend paid and went downstairs to eat ( the tables were all disgusting btw.) I looked at my receipt and saw that she charged me for extra brisket, $8.45 !! which is INSANE. I didn't get extra anything so I went back up for my refund. by that point there was a new cashier so I told her what happened and I even told her she could check cameras if they had to see that I only got one scoop of meat. she asked around to verify and then the girl that originally rang me up came in and the girl asked her and this girl said that she asked me and the guy if I got extra and we said yes 😂😂😂 mama you were too pissed off to say anything please stop lying. that girl didn't tell me anything, she did ask my friend if she got extra but she didn't say anything to ME. I told her that she never asked me anything and she rolled her eyes and walked away. her name was on the receipt and it said Marlene/Marlyne I don't remember. I only got back $8.20 which is whatever I wanted the interaction to end and I wasn't gonna ask for my other $0.25. by the time me and my friend were leaving the girl was cleaning stuff out so obviously someone else knew that she wasn't good for taking customers. I understand having bad days but that doesn't mean you get to take it out on people much less people you're supposed to be serving. I did nothing to you and you did not have to be rude.

I always love Chipotle but today (01-11-25 9:00pm) had the worst experience ever at chipotle SoHo location. Staff were like mad at customers, very inpatient and when we asked why they were mad at us the answer was “because we are here since 3pm and we are tired” and I can understand but that is not proper customer service. Except for the nice Dominican girl, the other girls made my friends and I experience awful. Definitely not coming back to this place anymore. Customers deserve respect.

They skimmed the portions, even on the rice. And durning my time there almost every worker were talking over each other so the dine in experience was extremely stressful. When ordering I had to repeat my order almost 3 times chicken chicken oh you want steak? NO CHICKEN. I had to raise my voice even though I was practically on the glass . 🗿

The hispanic or black girl at the front of the line yesterday evening had the most nastiest attitude. If you don't want to work here, then don't. It's as simple as that. From what i'm seeing in these reviews, countless others have had this same experience, and it appears nothing is being done. Do better and fire this classless bronx girl.

This is one of the worst Chipotles in SoHo. I was there last week and had the person serving me my food just straight up walked away and started doing something else lmao. It’s comical how unserious they are. The girl next to him slid my burrito out of the way and when I asked her if she could just finish rolling it up so I could go, her reply was “he gotta finish it” mind you my guy is all the way in the back at this point whipping the hell out of some lettuce in a bowl. No one cares here so try your luck if you’re starving…..

Extremely stingy with portion sizes compared to even just other chipotle locations. I paid the extra fee for guacamole but it was watery and so salty that it made the meal inedible. Also the water tap only had sparkling water for some reason which was just odd.

The guac was watery and way too salty, almost as if they messed up and decided to keep it. Why pay extra if the guac is gonna be that bad. Stingy with the portions and no water, just sparkling water which is fine for those who like it, but come on water is the least a restaurant should have. Seating was fine, and you had to go up to get a to go top for a bowl instead of almost every other chipotle where it’s implied you get it.
