I've eaten a LOT of pancakes over the years -- I think I lost count at the age of 5 or so. Some of those pancakes have been just OK, and some of them have been pretty good -- even great on occasion.
However, when my wife and I were in NYC a couple weekends ago to visit our daughter, I experienced something new:
The BEST pancake of my life.
I don't know exactly how Chloe figured out how to accomplish this feat -- especially for a vegan pancake -- and I don't really care. All I know is if I lived in NYC, I would be eating that stack of cinnamon swirl pancakes -- slathered in maple butter and syrup -- at least once EVERY weekend, maybe twice.
They are that good.
Chloe had an iced maple walnut coffee thing on the menu too, and it was amazing. Next trip to NYC, my wife and daughter and I will be setting up camp at Chloe. And if they're lucky, we might even invite some of our daughter's friends.

We were stumped for a place to eat after NY Dosa wasn't open. Although we were very hungry and our lunch expectations had big shoes to fill, Chloe had such amazing dishes that were all incredible and left us satisfied. Highly recommend! The new trees look beautiful :)

I wanna start by saying I’m never the type of person to leave a review but if I could give this place 0 stars I would. I came here the morning of my birthday because I’ve been vegan for 12 years and always wanted to try this place so I decided to treat myself. I had heard a lot of good things and I was very excited, only to be very disappointed.
I ordered a salad and my boyfriend ordered a burger. Literally such a simple order! We waited TWO HOURS. I’m not exaggerating. There was at least 15 other customers that walked in after us that were served almost immediately, when I noticed this I asked my boyfriend to check on the status of our order but nobody seemed to know what was going on or happening with our order. They offered me a free slice of birthday cake for the wait (kind, but the cake was extremely dry like it was made over a week ago) when the food finally came out 2 hours later the burger and fries were ice cold like it had been sitting in the expo window for a while and the potion was extremely small. Not only that but it came in to go containers when we had asked to eat inside- everyone else eating inside had large bowls when we have small to go portions.? I threw my salad away after one bite bc it was soggy and gross by the time it got to my table. Multiple different staff walked up to us 4 different times apologizing for the wait - it was clear someone had messed up and they felt guilty. I’m a server myself so I always try to have grace with these situations but I would have appreciated it if our meals were comped for the trouble. Hours wasted on my birthday just to have to leave and go eat somewhere else bc I was absolutely starving

I love this place; it’s shown me (an avid meat eater) how delicious and approachable vegan food can be. That said, I have noticed over the last few months, the speed of service is extremely slow for a place that seems to be fast casual. I’ve waited 20-30 minutes for a salad/burger before, and as I sit now, I have been waiting 15 minutes for my salad (evening of 10/22/25). 15 minutes doesn’t sound like long, but what’s weird is when they opened, it was a much more normal pace, even when the restaurant was packed.
I live nearby and would love to keep coming all the time, so I hope they fix this issue.

The Caesar salad has been my go-to from the beginning, but any option is fantastic. I hope Chloe opens up her bakery once again.

This place is great and 100% vegan. I went on a Sunday after working out and it was packed. Git my food pretty quickly considering that it's all made to Order. They gave an awesome selection of deserts. The peach iced tea was amazing. Price was average for the area.

I have a soy allergy and had no issues navigating. I had the truffle avacado toast, delicious. My husband had a burger, Mac and cheese, and sweet potato fries, which were really tasty.

What a wonderful brunch we had today. I had the Bleeker Street and it tasted as great as it looked. The restaurant was rocking and full of young families.

I came in here on a whim with friends just to try the place out—I wish I liked it more. I ordered chocolate chip pancakes that came out to me way after my friends all got their own pancakes. When I did finally receive them, the taste fell short, they were fairly overcooked on the bottom, and the chocolate chips weren't even on the inside of the pancake—just sprinkled on top (which I thought was strange). On the positive side, the strawberry matcha latte was probably the best I've found so far and the pancakes are huge/worth the price you're paying. The place itself and atmosphere is cute but I'm not sure if I would come back here.

So sad they only have a butternut as a “cheese” option for the burgers. I’m super super allergic to butternut. Sad
