Good place for a casual pan-Asian dinner. Quality of food and ingredients seems high and we enjoyed all the dishes we ordered in addition to the cocktails. We particularly enjoyed the orange beef, although the portion was much smaller than we expected for a “large” plate. They have a cute back patio area which is lovely in summer. Please note that the prices of the menu items are higher than what is advertised on the website, so I’m posting the current menu here.

Order was delivered very quick and the Thai style spare ribs were incredible. Excited to try many more things on their menu.

We had a delicious meal – thanks! The food is reliably good, and it's a nice low-key environment. Also it's quiet enough to actually have a conversation, which isn't a given in Chelsea.

The waitress was super nice and the food came out quick, but unfortunately my spicy sesame noodles were not spicy, and not really anything else either. (Except for a vague undertone of chloriney from, I think, the paltry amount of shredded cucumber and radish.) This dish CAN be surprisingly flavorful despite the fact that it's mostly noodles, if the restaurant gets heavy handed with the sesame paste, chili crisp, and/or chili oil, but this restaurant didn't use a heavy hand with anything.

The Tom Yum soup was not good. I've had much better. I walked over here for the soup, and it was not worth it. ?

Centrally located in Manhattan, New York, Chop-Shop offers a pleasant atmosphere for those appreciating Pan-Asian cuisine. The food is enjoyable, with an emphasis on prompt service that ensures your dishes arrive without delay. For those partial to a spicy meal, Chop-Shop stands out as a fantastic choice for lunch. It's a significant spot on the city's culinary map, not just for its convenient location, but also for the appealing menu and the dedicated staff committed to quality service.

Chop Shop is the best restaurant in town. Ingredients are very fresh and food is delicious. I've had many different dishes and they are all great. Also great drinks and service. Not expensive.

The atmosphere is great! Unfortunately the food is not. Absolutely zero seasoning involved here. Spicy noodles were not spicy and barely covered with hoisin sauce. Lo mein with shrimp - no flavor. Pork buns were tiny. And to boot, the portions are small. One drink $12. The bill $70. I normally don’t give negative reviews, but this is downright Ridiculous!

Very poorly run restraunt. The waitress - a middle aged woman with a mask on messed up the orders and did not allow to use the back sitting area- the restraunt has good food but the service is really bad. They need more waitstaff and some management.Waitress seemed stressed out. Asked for Thai ice tea and they did not have any. Will have to take a break from this place.

Although it might look like there are a decent number of vegan options on the menu, in reality there are only two or three, unless you want just straight sautéed veggies, as ALL the tofu is fried in the same oil as meat items, and the curry and papaya salad have fish sauce. I would give two stars, but at least the owner and staff were knowledgeable about what was vegan and what isn't. The vegan drunken noodles were altogether lacking in flavor beyond what you get from soy sauce. The Thai fried rice was nothing special and definitely not worth $15. Portions were pretty small, though the pictures might make it seem otherwise. I could definitively have eaten more. It's a cute restaurant and maybe is ok if you want something quick, but I definitely wouldn't return.

Definitely worth the stop if you're in the area. The quality of ingredients is top notch. Ate here towards the end of the opening hours, so understandably staff were pretty busy. The interiors are modern and cute. Great for a small group or a solo meal. They have a bar as well.
