I loved Chunky Boss! I came 2 days in a row. The person at the counter is knowledgeable of the menu and gives great recommendations on the best items to order. I highly recommend the pepper flavored chicken cutlet, fries and lychee green tea combo. SO good! I will definitely come back again when I visit NYC next time!

Highly recommend the spicy chicken! The chicken was huge but definitely fresh and was delicious. Right by grand central.

Juicy and tender chicken meat, yet little choice. I found the taste of the sweet chilli a little overwhelming and think that there should’ve been more options. Also, the fries were nice and crisp but I would’ve wished for more salt. The drink was nice!

Oh my god I don’t know where to begin I never had Taiwanese chicken before I only seen pictures on Instagram so when I saw how huge the size of the cutlet was when they gave it to me I couldn’t believe my eyes now when you see the price you might clutch your wallet butttttt for 8.99 it is worth it the cutlet is so huge it is a meal in itself and the chicken is so well marinated that it retains its juices there’s many ways you can order it you can order it plain and/or also get powder seasoning on top. Now I ordered the sweet chili cutlet and I was a little disappointed when I found out you can only get powder on the plain one but after trying the sweet chili cutlet I understood why it doesn’t need anything else it’s amazing by itself. So come here order a cutlet and wash it down with some bubble tea I ordered the mango sago my only complaint is I wouldn’t got it without milk had I known it was in there and if they had a vegan cutlet option that would be nice but I’m definitely coming back as a regular.

I've tried to go here a few times last year and there always was a large line so I never waited. But it's finally empty enough for me to try it and honestly it was a bit disappointing. The chicken cutlet is massive but I felt like there wasn't much flavor or crispiness. I got the spicy flavor and I could barely taste it. The chicken was very juicy though and it was hard to eat it all in one sitting. I also got the mochi strawberry drink which was so hard to drink because the mochi kept clogging the straw. Overall a bit of a frustrating meal and did not live up to the hype.

Tbh, I've been wanting to try this place for like a month.. and I was a bit disappointed. The sweet chili fried chicken was not what the photos advertised and it was basically just the regular one with a little sauce drizzled on top of it. The chicken texture was good and the flavor was okay, but not amazing. The fries were decent but not anything special either. Service was fine and the interior was tiny. The drink was good though! Not sure if I'll get the chicken again.

I ordered scheduled on Uber eats before it even open. But it got canceled anyways! I was waiting for it to be delivered and found it to be canceled halfway of my lunch

Today I ordered chicken fingers and was greatly disappointed. I took two bites and had to throw the rest away. This did not taste like chicken at all. I won't be returning to this establishment at all!

The service was not very inviting nor welcoming I was asking for recommendations and made me order way more food than expected. I spent a large amount of money and they wouldn't even give me a sauce and kept telling me it's .50 cents. The chicken was supposed to be completely tossed In sauce and they barely poured it over.

DONT GET THE SWEET CHILI CHICKEN CUTLET!!! the sweet sauce they used is awful. The sauce doesn’t coat the chicken evenly, mostly just in the middle which let me nibble a bit around it, so the plain parts just tasted like fried chicken, and if you do the combo with the fries it’s get placed all in the same container which causes the fries to get covered in a sweet seasoning and let me tell you sweet fries aren’t a thing for a reasoning. Good service and the few fries I tried that hadn’t been wrecked by the sweet seasoning were decent

Delicious juicy Taiwanese chicken cutlets. Definitely recommend the classic pepper for it. The chicken cutlets are made fresh so you will have to wait at least 10 mins, depending on the orders, so be prepared. The chicken is definitely worth the wait. It's inside the tiger sugar boba shop, who's partnered with them so the space is limited. But definitely would come back for the cutlets.

Came here for the infamous fried chicken patty. We got the spicy version. It came with sauce to make it "spicy". I thought it was going to be in the seasoning but that's my bad. It took 10 min for the chicken to come out. It was piping hot. You could see the steam. Glad i tried this spot out. $9 for the chicken solo.
