A nice place inside Chelsea market to get a cup of coffee. The carrotcake slices are huge and delicious!

This Amy's Bakery location (one of several in NYC) has only average sandwiches & pastries in the middle of Chelsea Market. I had a turkey & avocado sandwich, which was soggy (sitting on the shelf too long?). The chocolate croissant was better. The cold drink selection was limited, and the credit card reader was out of order when I tried to pay. There are a lot of fast food options inside Chelsea Market; consider visiting one of them.

Very disappointed in what became our breakfast. They did not even have a small baguette, a container to give me jam, or very good seating. People were potted at the hallways tables. A few doors down is another bakery...wished I'd come through that entrance.

We visited Amy’s Hot Bread in July 2019, for this review, while enjoying a five week stay in Manhattan. Our family previously visited Amy’s in December 2014, and we had to return for their delicious coffee and pastries ☕️ Five years between visits and some of the excitement and romance of our first visit had worn off. Unfortunately, we didn’t find the coffee and pastries that we’d previously enjoyed ? The cafe was still much the same, near the laundromat we’d also previously visited but the fare wasn’t as we’d remembered. Of-course, we’ll visit again when next staying in Manhattan, in the hope of regaining that original excitement we enjoyed on our first visits to Amy’s ❤️

Went there on a whim yesterday and took their porc Chuta Madre sandwich. Oh. My. God.It's honestly one of the best things I have eaten. The porc is so tender it almost melts and mixes so, so well with the other flavors of the sandwich. The bread is soft and crusty almost to perfection and the onions bring just the right amount of sweetness. They will ask you if you want some hot sauce with your sandwich. Yes. Take it. It takes an already very good sandwich to new heights. We are on vacation here and I'm sad that I won't get to eat this again once I'm back home.

The most authentic Ecuadorian sandwich place in NYC! Strongly recommended the pork sandwich.
